Regular Member taza Posted October 28, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted October 28, 2021 I have had 3 previous fut surgeries. By looking at my donor do you think another Fut is possible or fue with bht is a better option for me?
Senior Member Curious25 Posted October 28, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted October 28, 2021 It will ultimately depend on your scalp laxity, however I would imagine after 3x FUT’s , you’d probably be better served with FUE’ing remaining scalp grafts, and BHT. Regular Member taza Posted October 28, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 28, 2021 I'm looking for around 3000 grafts. Is that possible with my head donor area and some bht? Can anyone recommend a good clinic, which does a combination of back of head and bht.

Regular Member taza Posted October 28, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 28, 2021 (edited) I'm from the UK, I don't mind travelling, the last surgery I had was with Dr Rahal in Canada. I will try to send a photo of my beard. I think my beard is thick and dense. Edited October 28, 2021 by taza
Senior Member TEXAN35 Posted October 28, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted October 28, 2021 Your donor area looks decent even after 3 FUTs. I think FUE + BHT will be good for you since with FUE you can get hair follicles from sides also which are not harvested in FUT. How many grafts did you totally extract until now using FUTs ? Senior Member Z-- Posted October 28, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted October 28, 2021 Super impressive donor even after 3 surgeries. Honestly, you'd probably be okay with either, though completely agreed with @Curious25regarding scalp laxity.
Regular Member taza Posted October 28, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 28, 2021 (edited) I think the total amount of grafts I had from 3 surgeries was around 7000 grafts. The first 2 surgeries I had in the UK both failed. I want to have one more surgery, I think I still need around 3000 grafts.
