Senior Member LaserCaps Posted August 17, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted August 17, 2021 The laser comb was the first unit to get "Approval" from the FDA. Everything that follows is FDA cleared. The problem I find - it is labor intensive. You need to leave it for 3 seconds, move it, 3 seconds....until you cover the entire head. 3 times a week. I am already tired just thinking about it. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted August 18, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted August 18, 2021 For me to consider the remote possibility that laser caps are effective I would need to see a controlled study with participants who don't take any other hair loss treatments. Also, would need to see pics... all we get is a random poster here or there that says they work with no photographic evidence. 1 Dr. G: 1,000 grafts (FUT) 2008 Dr. Paul Shapiro: 2,348 grafts (FUT) 2009 ~ 1,999 grafts (FUT) 2011 ~ 300 grafts (Scar Reduction) 2013 Dr. Konior: 771 grafts (FUT) 2015 ~ 558 grafts (FUT) 2017 ~ 1,124 grafts (FUE) 2020 My Hair Transplant Journey with Shapiro Medical Group

Read in particular the number of diodes that resulted in the best outcome. 1 Patient Consultant for Dr. Arocha at Arocha Hair Restoration.
