But is my hair bad? I have several cowlicks but I have been freaking out. Thanks in advance.

I'd be more worried about your front, like the 2nd last pic. It seems thin in the parted area. Crown is hard to tell but there seems to be thinning. Go to a dermatologist and get your hair checked with a microscope. But if I were you, I'd just get on finasteride anyway.

And no, your hair is not bad. I wish I had your hair. You just need to prevent it from getting bad.

@bashley I recommend you search up a good trichologist, dermatologist or HT surgeon to take a closer look under a microscope. I say this because it looks like there is some thinning in your crown. You are under a harsh light so that plays a part, but its hard to discern whether or not its a natural cowlick. It seems to be slightly thin right around where you part it in your crown, and the parting hair covers the rest of your scalp so its hard to tell. 

A specialist will give you the closure you need. All in all, youre not in a bad situation at all, and if it is anything, you've caught it early enough to begin prevention. Hope that helps.

If you have any hair loss at all, it is super early. Not sure you have hair loss. Maybe just mature hairline.

I just got on Finasteride and Minoxidil from Roman.

Better to start now than be sorry later.

With your level of loss, I wouldn't bother with minoxidil. It's an annoying lifetime commitment.

Finasteride targets the root cause of balding, slowing down or preventing future loss. It comes in a pill form so there's no hassle.

Minoxidil promotes hair growth, but doesn't do that much for most people. It's also a hassle as it comes in liquid/foam form, requiring you to apply it to your hair 1-2x/day, waiting for it to dry, dealing with the texture, etc.

Do you Recommend coming off minoxidil after a year if a person hasn’t seen results? Could you lose ground doing this ?

You might lose ground, just because you can never really sure how much the medication is doing. All the hair that Minoxidil has been maintaining will shed.
