Hello. So I am like 10 days after my DHI hair transplant and I started working.

I kinda hate my bald look thou and I plan on wearing a cap 8 hour a day. That type of rap cap that hip-hoppers wear in music clips.

Is it ok ? could it affect my hair ? or grafts ? or the hair transplant over all ?

BE honest.

thank you

Yes, you can wear a cap, your grafts are anchored in to your scalp after 9 days.

Id avoid a cap or any pressure for few months.  Why?  It’s an expensive surgery and a lot of hassle to go through healing period.  Besides, there are cases of sikhs who wear turbans daily that can end up with traction alopecia.  If that can cause hairloss for them, a hat for long hours and certain tightness may do the same.  Just an added risk to an already risky procedure.  Its up to you if you feel it is worth it. Best of luck

You can actually wear a hat immediately following surgery, given that you're smart and cautious about it. The day of my procedure, I wore a high standing/loose fitting adjustable cap. As long as you're making very certain that the hat isn't resting on the grafts (so have it rest below the hairline, for example) and you're very careful when putting it on and taking it off, you'l be fine. In fact, the hat supports in keeping the sun out of direct sunlight when you're outside.

And even with all of that, at day 10 you're more than okay wearing a hat.
