Regular Member bsmit Posted September 15, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted September 15, 2019 Can a single pimple (not folliculitis) on the recipient area adversely impact the grafts at 4 weeks post-op? Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! Possibly can if you mess and pick at it. I waited until they got a bit bigger then used a sterilized diabetic pricking needle to gently pop the center, used an alcohol swab and let it naturally heal. Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted September 16, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 16, 2019 A single pimple is fine even a couple. In my experience it was usually a sign of growth. At 4 weeks it’s most likely an ingrown native hair. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. My comments are not medical advice. Senior Member gillenator Posted September 17, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted September 17, 2019 In most cases it's an ingrown hair trying to surface.
