Tomc
The best decision of my life was to fly to Turkey to have a hair transplant with Dr Koray Erdogan. It was a decision I made after 2 years of research, a couple of consultations with UK clinics (who i wasn't very impressed with) and after reading the numerous positive reviews and amazing before and after pictures, i booked to go to Asmed. I was impressed with the results from the 5000 plus grafts they had done. I required the same and UK clinics didnt give me any confidence they could do this over 2 days. They told me I would have to have 2 smaller surgeries 1 year apart. COST - Yes, Asmed was more expensive than other clinics in Turkey, however trust me, the saying that you get what you pay for is very true in life. I have friends who went to a cheap clinic and the results are unnatural, thin, and poor results. Compared to mine it is worlds apart. I knew with Asmed that for 5000 grafts I would get assurance that survival rate of each graft would be high and the results natural. No one can tell from my results I have had a transplant unless i tell them. I also get my sides shaved to a 0.5 i have no scarring!! I had my transplant over 2 days on 15th and 16th May 2018. When I arrived at the clinic I was immediately put at ease by the kind natured staff that greet you and are very comforting, putting any anxiety at ease. My patient co-ordinator was Suzanna who i cannot praise highly enough. She really is an amazong person, great at her job and makes sure you are comfortable through out your stay. The best way i can describe my experience at Asmed was that they treated me as if I was the most important person in the world. Something very impressive considering they see patients every day. BIG shout our to Dr Umut Kartal the anaesthetist who is a great guy. We had good chats and he always made sure i wasn't it pain. I really cannot recommend Asmed highly enough. They changed my life. I am no longer self conscious about losing my hair. Due to how much hair i had lost I may need to have a 2nd op to thicken up my crown as I wanted most of my grafts for the mid and front of my head. I am not planning a 2nd op as of yet as I'm delighted withthe results, however if I do, it will without doubt be back to see the best clinic, in my opinion, in Europe. Thanks Dr Koray Erdogan, Suzanna and the many others there that don't get a mention Edited August 18, 2019 by Tomc

Senior Member CosmoKramer Posted August 19, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted August 19, 2019 (edited) Looks great man, congrats! Looks like you had your procedure done a month before me and I agree...I too felt as you in your review with my situation during the research/pre/post stages and the staff is great, Suzana was my coordinator as well and was fantastic, Dr Umut seemed a bit serious but a nice guy, and it was nice chatting with him during the meal break...found out he is a fan of heavy metal music haha. 👍🏻🤘🏻 Edited August 19, 2019 by CosmoKramer
Senior Member Der3k7 Posted August 22, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted August 22, 2019 I had a procedure from ASMED last November and it helped my temples a a bit but the yield on the hairline didn't turn out so well so they offered me a touch up procedure so I'll be back this coming November. Hopefully my yield is better this time! Your result is good man.
