Mick from Farjo
Patient who had treatment almost 12 months ago.He received 2538 FUG to the front and top of the scalp. At the time of the initial surgery he was not overly concerned with the crown. This changed though as his new hair started to come through. 2538 FUG 444 1 Hair 1716 2 " 378 3-4 " Mick Patient coordinator for Dr. Bessam Farjo who is an esteemed member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
Bill - Seemiller
Mick, Given this patient's balding area to be covered and the number of grafts, I'd say this was a homerun. I'm sure his hair characteristics and natural wave helped aid the appearance of density as well. Thanks for sharing, Bill
Senior Member orangehair Posted January 15, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 15, 2010 big difference Mick...kudos to Dr. Farjo...probably lost a percentage of this native frontal hair but its negligible compared to healthy volume of the transplanted hairs, which seems to be in area of @ 5000. Raphael84
Good solid result. Impressive. The way and similar ratio from colour to skin tone also seems to aid the patient. So Mick, what is the plan from here? Do you believe that good coverage can be achieved in just one more session, or knowing the patients physioloy, scalp laxity etc... do your believe that 2 more HT's would be necessary? Obvioulsy all of this is irrelevant if the patients goals differ. Mick from Farjo
Thanks for the feedback, Bill his hair characteristics certainly played a part in the result. Raphael84 , Balody he has just had a session to the crown of around 2250 FUG.He is now finished with surgery and is a happy camper.Age,degree of loss, hair characteristics and expectations all play a part in deciding the plan for the patient.Everything came together for him and he is very happy. Regular Member Microscopic_slivers Posted January 21, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted January 21, 2010 Nice improvement. Favorable hair characteristics help but it is handle very well to not stand out as coarse grafts. Bravo! I am employed by Dr. Arocha as his lead tech at Arocha Hair Restoration.
