  1. Mic this is nice and clean, should have a very nice result. Please keep us posted.Cheers,
  2. Bumped for the edit of the before/after photos. The after photos are the fully grown out results. Note that this patient was thin in the frontal third so the restoration procedure encompassed restoring this area plus the severe frontal-temporal recession. Thanks.
  3. bonkerstonker and Shadow of the EMpire State, This post is an update of a previous post, Richard11 has not posted the correct before and after information. The only fully grown in photos are number 4, 8, and 10. Number 11, is an early after photo, showing robust early growth but not the final result. We will add further jpegs and text soon. Thanks.
  4. Thanks for the comments Swimmy, While it is indeed all so very relative this patient was far worst off than you can tell from the submitted views. We will post some additional views, and his one year post pics soon.
  5. Ale46, As taking the plunge stated, $4./FU is on the low end of the range, it is a special that Dr. Arocha has been extending to prospective patients who need and could benefit from a larger session for surgeries done in our Houston office. Of course we are able to do any size session you would like, to fit your budget. All the best, Craig
  6. Hello Cant decide, Christine is back at school working on her master. Well we have contacted the patient to come in for fallow up. We update photos soon. Thank you for your interest.
  7. RCWest, I have work with Dr. Arocha for about 10 years, but before that I had a stint with Spic and Span and of course Mr. Clean. LOL Thanks!
  8. Gentlemen, Thanks for all your positive comments. Dr. Arocha and team sure appreciate it.
  9. azn_guy, This patient actually has a fade with a zero to 1 guard over the donor area. The scar is only minimally visible but it would not be if the stylist used a 2 guard!
  10. Gentlemen, We thank you for your comments! Doc and I laughed when we filmed this video, as the patient's head was visibly being moved every time Doc attempted to comb through it. It is that thick! Labrat69, It is simple to determine donor density, usually Doc examines the area, combing through it and can come up with a close estimate. However, we do trim the donor area at surgery time and count the number of FU's in selected 1cm2 areas along the length of the strip.
  11. Nice improvement. Favorable hair characteristics help but it is handle very well to not stand out as coarse grafts. Bravo!
  12. Orangehair, Kudos to Dr Dorin and the team. Very natural restoration with small session in only 9 months. Happy New Year!
  13. Future_HT_Doc, Good observation. You are on your way. Natural and undetectable is our mantra. OM!!!
  14. BigBill1234, It is smart to stay on the Propecia, maybe add Rogaine 5%. Take your time, research your options! There are many excellent hair restoration surgeons, the best for you depends on many factors. I would study the outcomes, looking at as many before and after pics as possible.
  15. A 56 year old male with a NW6 wanted to restore his hair-line, frontal, mid-scalp, and his crown. The challenge in this case is that over half the hair loss was in the crown. To make things worse the crown hair loss was vertical, making it a virtual billboard, see slide number 9. The patient has had 2 procedures with a combined total of 10,250 FU. 1st TP 8-19-07 2nd TP 7-18-08 5350 Total FU'5 4900 Total FU's 1 hair-1017 1 hair-931 2 hair-2515 2 hair-2303 3+hair-1818 3+hair-1666
  16. A 24 year old Indian male developing a NW 5-6 pattern, wanted to restore his hair line, frontal core, and mid-scalp. 1 hairs 432 2 hairs 1297 3 hairs+ 1361
  17. A 48 year old Caucasian male with diffuse thinning developing a NW 6. He has residual hair in the frontal area, but it is see through.
  18. Did you all know that Dr. Arocha is offering a $4. per FU graft special in appreciation for his induction into the Coalition.
  19. mpkoons, Have you done enough research? If you have, then you should not be having second thoughts. If you have not, then it is not too late.
  20. What about the hypercoagulable state post-surgery, in view of the recent thromboembolic events in healthy young airline traveler in the news a while back. She was not even post-surgical.
  21. Rachmunas4life, This patient of Dr. Arocha reminds me of your situation, he might have had more hair loss.He is very early in the growth of his transplant at only 5 months post TP. He only had 2068 FU procedure. Here is a link:http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/showthread.php?t=154672
