Regular Member chicago2017 Posted January 27, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) Hi All, I had a HT 2 years ago with Dr Richard S Keller. I am not happy with results and he gave me a lot of false promises that did not happen. At 4 months visit he said I will have poster results, at 7 months that my density will double, but none of this happen. Also, he posted my results on this forum but his post was misleading and not showing real result. Due to all of these factors I am planning to ask him for refund. I would like to hear your opinion. Senior Member razzy Posted January 27, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted January 27, 2019 Chicago, I can see your concerns and the lack of density in parts of the transplanted area. I noticed you don't take any medications, do you think it could be possible your hair loss continued even with 3000+ grafts? Did you experience any shock loss? In terms of getting a refund you should speak to Dr. Keller personally and see if he can do something for you as it's a tough situation. HT#1 - Dr. Rahal (Jan 2012) - 4700 grafts HT#2 - Dr. Rahal (Jan 2014) - 1800 grafts HT#3 - Dr. Konior (Jan 2018) - 1200 grafts

Senior Member 1978matt Posted January 27, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted January 27, 2019 Slim to no chance of a refund. You may get a discount on future procedures but not much else. You just need more grafts and have likely lost more native hair. Top down shots are always the least flattering. 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day
Raker
You must feel if you’ve been taken advantage of, cheated & mislead. The challenge of litigation & the reality of a refund is unlikely but if you dont ask you don’t get. I would certainly change surgeons should you decide on further surgery. Good luck in your quest for resolution.

Senior Member VicTNYC Posted January 28, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted January 28, 2019 Hey man, I doubt you would get a full refund, but it doesn’t hurt to voice your concerns to the Doctor and ask. To me it looks like a okay amount of the transplanted hair grew but that you very likely lost more native surrounding hair in the recipient area to mpb over the course of the 12-18 months and what’s left is the new hair from transplanted grafts, which, by the way, for 3,125 looks to have been spread out over a large scalp area and that could be why it now looks that thin. Post about your 2nd Ht when you decide to proceed. Good luck!
