Senior Member micknick Posted September 23, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2017 Haha that's funny.. did you end up tell him the truth or make something up? That's brave of you going out without a hat or anything I wouldn't be able to do it lol It was at work- can't wear a hat there. I didn't tell him, just said I had it cut short as I've said I might for ages and I'm just waiting to grow it out a bit.

Regular Member Cid Posted October 1, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted October 1, 2017 Looks good. I just posted my 8 week as well. I still have some redness and occasional ingrown hair sprouts. Nader said to keep putting aloe, and ointment on it till the irritations go away. Not sure if it helps but I've been dabbing neosporin on the irritations/new hair/ingrown hairs and the redness goes away. What are your thoughts? Yea I've been following your progress since you first posted. I shaved my head twice since the procedure just so everything grows evenally. The redness is what bothers me the most. I've been using the aloe as well but not Neosporin. I get the random ingrowns but they go away within acouple of days. Hopefully we both get good results and what's good is we can compare our weekly progress lol 1st procedure (8-4-17) - Dr. Luís Nader FUE 1551 grafts. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/49351-1551-grafts-with-luis-nader/?tab=comments#comment-455985 2nd procedure (2-4-20) - Dr. Blake Bloxham FUT 1986 grafts https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55933-dr-blake-bloxham-fut/?tab=comments#comment-529401
Senior Member JohnCasper Posted October 3, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 3, 2017 The redness will take a while to dissipate completely but on the other hand it indicates that things are "percolating" under the skin in that area. Hey Casper, The redness is so annoying hah. But I know it takes awhile for it to go away. I've seen that around the 4th month mark redness goes away and the growth usually starts. I'm going to take a look at your website right now. I will keep this thread updated as much as I can. I just hope that I get the results I'm looking for. 1st procedure (8-4-17) - Dr. Luís Nader FUE 1551 grafts. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/49351-1551-grafts-with-luis-nader/?tab=comments#comment-455985 2nd procedure (2-4-20) - Dr. Blake Bloxham FUT 1986 grafts https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55933-dr-blake-bloxham-fut/?tab=comments#comment-529401

Pictures taken outside. A lot of white hairs that are hard to see. There are also a lot of dots that are grafts that are trying to poke through. Senior Member Tbcruz Posted November 7, 2017 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 7, 2017 Day 94 lmk what you guys think Some hairs just started to sprout and others are long. Hopefully everything starts to grow soon. Second picture is little black heads that come out if I rub them. No bleeding no pain , doctor said those are hairs that were suppose to shed. Dr. Nader is great with texting btw as soon as I text him he responds immediately ! I’ve been using caboki for now when I go out and it’s great. I’ve never used that b4 but I had a baptism to go to and couldn’t wear a hat. Boy did that do the trick. Hopefully in a month Or 2 I won’t have to use it no more . 1st procedure (8-4-17) - Dr. Luís Nader FUE 1551 grafts. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/49351-1551-grafts-with-luis-nader/?tab=comments#comment-455985 2nd procedure (2-4-20) - Dr. Blake Bloxham FUT 1986 grafts https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55933-dr-blake-bloxham-fut/?tab=comments#comment-529401

Regular Member Cid Posted November 10, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted November 10, 2017 Looks great! That doesn't look like the graft. The root would be a lot longer. I'm sure it's just the shedding top. Take your biotin. I think it helps as well. I take 5000mcg in the morning and at night.
Senior Member Tbcruz Posted November 24, 2017 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 24, 2017 Today marks 16 weeks since op. A lot of white hairs which is hard to see a lot of darker hairs which you can see in the pics and some dots which are hairs growing. I’ve actually left the house without a hat and no one really stares or even looks twice. Just looks like it’s thinning in the area. I do use caboki when I go out tho to make it look fuller. Redness is going away slowly only down side but since Dr Nader told me to start using mederma it’s been a big difference. These are the pictures, let me know what you guys think.. keep in mind it’s a sunny day and I’m in my work van a lot of light coming in. Regular Member Cid Posted November 30, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted November 30, 2017 Thanks cid, How are you liking your new hair? So far so good. After the 16 week mark it's been coming in a lot faster and denser. I'm not wearing the hat as often. I'm hoping it will really thicken up in month 5 and 6. Senior Member Tbcruz Posted December 22, 2017 Author Senior Member Share Posted December 22, 2017 Okay so 20 weeks since I got it done.. I still have redness and the coverage is okay I guess not super thrilled but I know it’s still early. Hopefully in the coming months it’s thickens up and the redness goes away Here are some pics with my hair down and with me revealing the areas 1st procedure (8-4-17) - Dr. Luís Nader FUE 1551 grafts. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/49351-1551-grafts-with-luis-nader/?tab=comments#comment-455985 2nd procedure (2-4-20) - Dr. Blake Bloxham FUT 1986 grafts https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55933-dr-blake-bloxham-fut/?tab=comments#comment-529401
Senior Member Tbcruz Posted February 9, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 9, 2018 I’m not that thrilled with the results, density is not where I thought it would be at this stage. On another note I do see a lot of fine hair that has to mature and a couple of new hairs poking through. Keep in mind these pictures were takin in harsh over head lighting and with me combing my hair back to expose the areas. I took pictures before showering so my hair was oily, and pictures after I showered (wet). I will also show how my hair is dried after I showered because it does look different than the ones I took before showering. Let me know what you guys think ? Do I still have a shot of some nice thickness still coming ? 1st procedure (8-4-17) - Dr. Luís Nader FUE 1551 grafts. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/49351-1551-grafts-with-luis-nader/?tab=comments#comment-455985 2nd procedure (2-4-20) - Dr. Blake Bloxham FUT 1986 grafts https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55933-dr-blake-bloxham-fut/?tab=comments#comment-529401
