Senior Member Djlazerblue Posted April 17, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted April 17, 2017 Hi all a bit about myself I'm 32, I took propecia for 6 years started to see the effects wear off so I decided to go straight onto dut I've been on it nearly 3 months solid now, I always shed hair daily but recently in the last 2 months I've seen big sheds today probably the biggest I lost about 200 hairs I feel my hair is thin, I can run my fingers thru it and I get loads of hairs with white bits on the end can anyone help me to what might be going on P.s I had a blood test for thyroid and everything is normal I've attached a picture of the hair shed Thanks steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Did you consult with a doctor or dermatologist before leaping into the new regimen? It might be safer to up the finasteride dosage via proscar or 5mg generic tablets of it cut into thirds or in half. May you post any photos that may show the progression of your hair loss? Do you know the manufacturer of your dutasteride? Your reaction to the medication may be due to other factors and or positive and negative effects. Have you made any other changes to your regimen? My opinions are my own.
