Senior Member Cant decide Posted October 20, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 20, 2015 For those who say its a marginal result, remember this is likely a two step plan. With the amount of grafts placed, he was not going to obtain full coverage. I bet with 2000 more grafts, this will be a wow result. My Hairloss Web Site - Procedure #1: 5229 Grafts with Dr. Rahal Oct, 2010 Procedure #2: 2642 Grafts with Dr. Rahal Aug, 2013 7871 Grafts http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2452
Senior Member home1212 Posted October 20, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 20, 2015 nice conservative design, and realistic outcome based on the patient's high NW, of course you focus on the frontal zone to start - you can't and should not attempt to cover the entire balding scalp in one procedure - its not realistic or medically feasible to extract and implant that many grafts in one sitting. As Cant Decide indicated, another session to address the area behind the frontal zone with another 2 or 2.5k grafts, this will be an "excellent" outcome
Senior Member sl Posted October 20, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 20, 2015 Patient has medium fine hair and a fair size area addressed with just over 3,000 grafts. As said it will be a two stage approach in the least will be needed and the patient had good starting density to allow a further surgery and still at 9 months he will see further improvement to come but already has made a nice change for him. Thank you to patient for sharing the photos and hope we can have updates also on this and for subsequent surgery. I represent Dr. Bisanga. Senior Member Hairsearch21 Posted October 20, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 20, 2015 Sorry, but i think thats a poor result.. Not a bad one, but a poor one. Even under the light in the pics its undense and the light isnt harsh.. Hair micron should not be the answer wy its not dense. The answer is simply the density is to low.
