Going forward, could you also post top down views of the midscalp and crown in order to give the total view? Looks great though. 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
Senior Member fisher4man Posted January 27, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted January 27, 2015 We need to see all view pictures to appreciate the result and to see the hair loss pattern and, 1- What was the time period between sessions? 2- Do you use manual or motorized technique for graft extraction? 2- If this is the completed result after 2nd session (with total 6000 grafts) could you also provide the pictures showing the result after the first session (with 3100 or 2900 grafts???) Dr. Kapil Dua
Thanks BUSA, KO & fisher4man for the reply. Busa, it is 6000 grafts by FUE technique. KO & fisher4man 1 - time period between sessions: first session = 3100 grafts done on 21-Jan-2013 and second session = 2900 grafts done on 14-Sep-2013 2 - Do you use manual or motorized technique for graft extraction? We use Harris Safe Scribe Motorized Technique. 2 - Please see first session patient's pictures album. Kapil Dua, M.B.B.S. M.S. ,FISHRS Chairman & Chief Hair Transplant Surgeon Dipl. Senior Member KO Posted January 28, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted January 28, 2015 Thank you for your response. I note you have posted a crown shot for Session 1, do you have a crown/midscalp shot for Session 2 as well? Since the crown was addressed in Session 2. 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
Senior Member fisher4man Posted January 29, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted January 29, 2015 Thank you for your response. I note you have posted a crown shot for Session 1, do you have a crown/midscalp shot for Session 2 as well? Since the crown was addressed in Session 2. I think crown shot is after 2nd session and 2nd session addressed the middle area (no operative pictures) We see now the full result after 2 sessions with 6000 grafts. Check the pictures again carefully. Crown was addressed in 3rd Session -with operative crown shot pictures-. And the result after this session has been waiting to end. Anyway I might be wrong (and I wish) due to positional differences in the pictures. Am I right Dr. Kapildua?
Senior Member Questionmark Posted January 30, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted January 30, 2015 Very good result imo, the amount of grafts is huge, and the crown didn`t get covered at all, but it`s a reasonable approach imo. I look forward to further presentations of your clinic. Administrators Admin Posted January 30, 2015 Administrators Share Posted January 30, 2015 Dr. Dua, Thanks for presenting this patient. From what I've seen so far, your work and results are very impressive. Do you have any photos showing this patient's crown after the results from the second procedure matured? I'd like to see what the crown and the entire top of the head looks like now that he has 6000 grafts covering the entire top of the scalp. I look forward to seeing more examples of your work and results in the coming days. Best wishes, Bill The Hair Restoration Social Network Admin

Dr. Kapil Dua
Yes Fisherman, You are right. We have done three sittings in this patient. In the first sitting, we gave him 3100 grafts in which the hairline and the frontal half were covered. In the second sitting, 2900 grafts were given to cover the mid scalp, the pictures of which have been attached, and then we did the third sitting was done in which 2000 grafts were given ( the immediate post operative pictures have been attached earlier). The patient has not turned back after the third sitting as a result of which we have not got the pictures of results after third sitting. See pictures. Dr Kapil I think crown shot is after 2nd session and 2nd session addressed the middle area (no operative pictures) We see now the full result after 2 sessions with 6000 grafts. Senior Member GraveD11gger Posted February 7, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 7, 2015 that wud total 8000 grafts not 6000 grafts. can you clarify? upper picture show the overall result after 2 sessions with 6000 grafts (3100+2900) (yes I know you have disappointed with the result from 6000 grafts) Lower picture shows immediate view after the 3rd session with more 2000 grafts, but the result will come later.
