Regular Member GMac123 Posted November 8, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted November 8, 2014 Hi, I used this forum extensively before making the big decision to undergo FUE surgery back in April. If it wasn't for reading the stories and seeing the photos then I don't think I would have made the step, so I would like to share my results so far to hopefully help others. I won't go into all the details in regards to the quick recovery or the process on the day and how good Dr Lorenzo and Mick and everyone else at Farjo was, as several other posts detail it very well. All I can say is I was at complete ease throughout, it was so simple and my only regret is not having done it sooner. I am currently 7 months post-op and have been thrilled with the results since about month 4. It continues to thicken and I can still feel little hairs poking through. I've only attached a snapshot of them all. If you would like to see the pics in more detail then here is the link to the album: Dr Lorenzo 2442 FUE Photos Cheers

Senior Member chrisdav Posted November 8, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 8, 2014 Congraulations GMac123 - glad to hear you are happy... you should be with the progress shown. Dr Lorenzo is an exceptional talent and I am really impressed that every patient who has posted their result on the forum has been thrilled with their outcome. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.

Senior Member splitting hairs Posted November 9, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 9, 2014 Wow!! Excellent result!! Great hairline design! Did you have much input in the hairline design or was it just what the doc suggested?? Also how old are you and are you on any Meds?? _________________________________________________ Propecia since July 2008 2201 Grafts with Dr Lorenzo on 19.10.22 - See my write up here:

Senior Member KO Posted November 9, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 9, 2014 Looks good, so much for Lorenzo creating "pluggy hairlines". 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
Regular Member GMac123 Posted November 9, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) Wow!! Excellent result!! Great hairline design! Did you have much input in the hairline design or was it just what the doc suggested?? Also how old are you and are you on any Meds?? Thanks! Yes - I originally suggested a more aggressive hairline, and he drew on a few options. I then agreed with him that it would have looked too unnatural, especially as I got older. Also - he had drawn a more rounded front, however even with a full head of hair I had always had a bit of a widows peak so I asked for that design. I'm 29 - been on Propecia since Jan, wish I'd have started it years ago... Edited November 9, 2014 by GMac123
Senior Member Sean Posted November 9, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 9, 2014 Dr Lorenzo achieved what most docs may or may not achieve in same area. Other docs may use 4500 grafts in a smaller area to try to create density but still fail. With the number of grafts used and the area worked on, I think I haven't seen such a result in North America. Fue with low graft use in a frontal key region, with excellent graft yield survival, definitely a remarkable result.
Senior Member FUE2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 9, 2014 Looking very nice, put picture quality not great. Wouldn't mind seeing some HD photos of hair now from other angles, taken in natural light if possible.

I should just mention that we were constrained to 1 day for the full procedure (I managed to book in with 3 weeks notice and wanted to time it with a 2 week upcoming holiday for recovery). He did all the extractions and insertions himself, which obviously gave me more confidence in the outcome (I see why he is called 'the robot') - it was a long day! I'll take some at 8 months growth with my dig. camera and update.
