  1. thats all understandable, he was clearly a very bad candidate... but did you tell him all this before the surgery?
  2. Zap do you have any idea how younger, smart and cool the buzzcut make you look!!! Honestly mate a totally different person! Congrats on the hairline it looks awesome! Keep this hair short with this new hairline it suits you perfectly!!!
  3. Try to take it easy bro, whatever it is its not the end of the world! Seek some counselling it really helps to put things in perspective and give you strength to deal with hard situations. You have to understand that your reaction to what happened is normal as you are a human being and you are fragile. What is not normal is the road its taking you, you have to deal with it soon cause you are loosing precious years of your life. One day you will get better and your only regret will be the years you lost and the friends you alienated. Try to be strong, you need it
  4. I have heard of the term late growth is real and it happens noone should question that. But what they mean late growth is patients who see their results blossom between month 8-12. Not 12 moths to 2 years! This must be something very rare (if real), cause late growth that happens suddenly on month 8 is already rare! I ve read it a long time ago in a response from Dr. Bernstein to Dr. Unger. He explained there what late growth means.
  5. I can't wait for hairweare's experience with Lorenzo! When is it for mate???
  6. On one hand the FDA approves the Artas and doctors are ok to use it and on the other hand they worry about technicians...
  7. Ride it out, it can be a shed its very common. Don't change your dosage or switch to another drug yet!
  8. In my experience minoxidil saved me. I started balding in the university age 21. At least thats when it became noticeable enough to bother me. I started using it and it turned back the clock! I managed to live my university years and more with the look of a full head of hair. It maintained what i had without the need for propecia. 5-6 years after it started loosing its efficacy. It still worked but it couldn't keep up with my hairloss. I still used it for another 5 years. Experimented with propecia also and had sides. I was also afraid of the irreversible shed to stop it. What closed the deal for me was when i buzzed my head almost like a shave. I couldn't care then and i stopped it. I lost some ground but i think it had more to with the hair caliber of my hair which was lost after stopping it. The actual hairloss had already do the damage and stopping it didn't make much of a different in the actual amount of hair i had, it made a difference though to how thick my hair looked. A pleasant surprise of stopping it was i lost the bloated minoxidil face. And while at the beginning a shaved head looked bad on me as my face became leaner and better the shave started looking good on me!!!
  9. Nice post! When you upload some pics we will be able to have an opinion. For now i would suggest if you haven't done it already to try to meet up with some patients in person, ask them questions, see their results live. Forums is a great way to get information but nothing beats the real thing! try to find some patients with a problem close to yours, cause hair transplant success has a lot to do with the extent of the problem. Also have you considered medications are you on propecia or minox? They play a huge role to the success of the hair transplant so depending on your balding pattern they might be essential to even consider having a transplant.
  10. Nice explanation, i didn't know this. Women definitely are in worst shape with hairloss than us on every level.
  11. Depends on the bikes, i own a ducatti hypermotard and a yamaha t-max 530. In the Tmax forum hardly anyone complains about bike problems, in the ducatti forum if you don't have some sort of a problem then its not a ducatti Also in the forums there you are not advised to speak with the manufacturer first before you report a problem
  12. In the end both the patient and the doctor disappeared and we are left here debating things that have nothing to do with the case. Personally the way i see things is that we only hear of the bad results when the patient is being stalled from a refund or when he looses his patience with the clinic and freaks out. When he gets what he wants, which usually is a refund, he disappears or does not say who his doctor was ever again when he is asked. I sometimes wonder if supporting a patient and get into the heat for him is really worth it... This pattern is actually what makes me even more pro FUE. Cause its obvious that most of the bad results, being strip or FUE, we never hear about since patients are encouraged to speak with their clinic first before they go public. Only when things fall out they come out... So FUE looks to me a more safe option if things go wrong. But even then i would never cheerlead a doctor cause he is an FUE doctor, i find cheerleading docs and clinics pathetic when i see it, and most of these new FUE doctors i didn't even know them since recently! But at the same time i cannot trust strip and keep an open mind to it, I am afraid of the things i don't see and at the same time I hate seeing threads of people trying to fix their strip scar with FUE or SMP to just be able to buzz their hair down and be normal. At least with FUE i don't see these threads.
  13. Hey the passer i wish you the best mate! I honestly cannot believe what i am seeing with your donor area, it looks like nothing happened! I can't even see gaps! Is this because of the 0.7mm drill??? isn't it too small?
