Senior Member orangehair Posted October 1, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted October 1, 2014 This patient who is a hairstylist had a very low native central peak. He didn't want to deviate too far from his overall hairline shape so Dr. Dorin established a permanent contour just behind and expanded the corners while maintaining a natural recession. 2087 grafts were allocated to re-establish coverage to the front as well as the vertex. Senior Member Spanker Posted October 3, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted October 3, 2014 That's doing a lot with a little. Having that persistent forelock really makes a difference. I am an online representative for Dr. Raymond Konior who is an elite member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. Senior Member TommyLucchese Posted October 9, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted October 9, 2014 Wow that's so few grafts but definitely makes a difference. If I were that patient I think I'd have preferred 4/5000 grafts and got it all sorted in one go though. 2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now. Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018. Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week.
