Facelift scar correction. 1 year followup, one session, 1854 grafts/3439 hairs FUT- R

40 year old woman showing nice coverage of facelift scar at 1 year after single session of 573 1's, 985 2's, 288 3's, and 8 4's for a total 1854 grafts and 3439 hairs. Images include baseline, immediate post-op, 6 months, and 12 months post-op.

Good job Dr. Haber. Makes one wonder if her original plastic surgeon had ever heard of trichophytic approches since trichophytic browlifting is likely the origin of many of our closures.

Interesting, is this really a facelift scar? Looks more like a browlift scar.

 

The result is pretty good but to be honest the density could be better. I say this because the density in the transplanted areas that had hair to begin with preop seem to be lower postop. In other words, hairs were transplanted in areas that had hair and the result was even less hair. What was the yield rate? Did she have any permanent shockloss?
