Regular Member neo572 Posted February 16, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) 1st Hair transplant Doctor : Dr.,****** , New delhi(India) Grafts: 3200 , Date : 9th feb 2007. 2nd Hair transplant Doctor : Dr., Feriduni Grafts: 4195 , Date : 3rd feb 2014. Hello Guys, I am sharing my recent journey of my 2nd hair transplant done at Dr.feriduni clinic, hasselt. I waited eagerly for this day to come after nearly waiting for 9 months ( as no dates were unavailable prior to this date). My 1st HT which was done by an Indian doctor “Dr., ******” from new delhi, came out with OK result, nothing great which I would call amazing or exceptional looking. Since, I live in Gothenburg (Sweden), so choosing DR.Feriduni was right choice for me, as many direct flights to Brussels and travel time is of less then 90 mins, comparing many hours traveling to US or Canada. My sincere advise to ALL planning for HT, is dont fall for cheaper rates of FUT/FUE clinics around the world.(as I did for Dr.****** clinic ,he is not very bad, just not that good). If you desire for amazing results, do lots prior research on doctor and clinic, before choosing one irrespective of cost. And I this time chose best among best doctor and also a great human being. If anyone living in Sweden & want to meet or discuss on HT, happy to help / svenska : Om du vill chatta, kommer PM me.I hj?lpa dig This was my 2nd trip to Brussels, my 1st was in summer and mostly was drinking & partying that time. This time I had to go Brussels, by being abstained from alcohol for nearly 2 weeks ( which is hardest thing to do if u live in Sweden, as we drink a lot..), And I didnt want to take any chances. After disucssion with doctor for nearly for 50 mins, Dr Feriduni, started designing lines on different zones, and he kept on discussing with me while designing those lines. I was happy with final lining, it not only looked good and its what exactly I wanted, it’s like he read my mind precisely . During the operation by medical staff and later during the discussion with Docter, I was told that I am very good patient & wish more patient like me visit clinic, cause I stayed like dead or mummy during the operation..lol, which made everyone life easier. But the reason I stayed still , was I got busy in watching world ski championship on TV ;p. And if you shake alot or move constantly on chair, this makes tougher them while punching & placing grafts. While consultations with both doctors , told me that I have great laxity (even though I didnot follow any of those instructions for scaple exceise) ..Maybe god gift .. After 2nd HT, dr.feriduni examined my strip area and told I still got good laxity, which is good for scar not being stretched in later stages. Finally took taxi back from clinic to airport. Thus my, painless & wonderful journey came to end . Felt happy to back in Sweden, and 1st thing I had was a coffee, which I missed so badly in Belgium. Before leaving clinic, doctor spoke for 20-25 mins and gave me few med's & jel for post care.(pics attached), Anyways here the pictures,Before hair transplant, immdly after HT , and pictures from Day 4 and Day 7 post op. Plus, I want to thanks to members in this forum, who helped me with lot of info's on my questions. : hairshopeing, Bustamove,cueball35,tooktheplunge Thus,All new awesome life has begun........cant wait to post end result after 1 yr..!! Look forward to seeing your hair grow over the next year. Hello Mate, thanks!! Yes, he did excellent job in getting rid of old strip scar which was 3 -4 cm at some points as told by doctor. Plus, he manage to get rid of my childhood scar, which I got from fall on stairs... , Now, I dont feel any pain or anything in the strip area at Day 14, just little numbness tht cause of bit of blood stuck in it I believe. Regular Member neo572 Posted February 18, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 18, 2014 Most of scabs are off, mainly reason I kept it moist, by spraying water every 1/2 hour. Now applying aloe vera jelly morning and evening to get rid of redness, so far 20-30% of hair have shed off on day 14, so I m assuming more in coming days. Anyone has good suggestions to get rid of this redness sooner, pls let me know.Want them to gone before I go for work in 2 weeks time. Thanks. Regular Member neo572 Posted February 19, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 19, 2014 Its been progressing well, though just 20-30 % hair shed off, still got many growing with out any problem. Making me wonder when they will fall off.
Senior Member cueball35 Posted February 19, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted February 19, 2014 I really shed the most from about the third week through to the 5th week, on my first op i had some redness for 2 to 3 months after but you have darker skin than me so yours should go away quicker. Keep applying the aloe vera mate. You can start scrubbing those scabs off on your crown a bit more roughly now, the grafts are well anchored at this stage so no worries dislodging one! Interesting that the doc didnt use staples or have my eyes deceived me? 4510 FUSS Dr Feriduni December 2012 2350 FUSS Dr Feriduni December 2013 HT 1:Total Grafts 4510: Singles 715, Doubles 2123, Triples 1369, Quads 303 ( 10,280 Hairs ) HT 2:Total Grafts 2352: Singles 350, Doubles 1601, Triples 401, ( 4,755 Hairs )

U r the 4th person to ask me why he didnt use the staples in PM, frankly I no idea on this. Does it matter if he had use the staples to scar later? I am now curious to know abt it. Senior Member Mickey85 Posted March 18, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted March 18, 2014 LOVE the hairline design and temple points. Feriduni has the best hairlines in my opinion. Has Feriduni stopped using staples to close the donor? The suture work looks absolutely pristine and neat The only 2 threads you will ever need: Revamped Advantages/Disadvantages of FUE. Regular Member neo572 Posted March 18, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 18, 2014 What about Rahal? He is known as the Hairline King ?! I had to chose b/w rahal and feriduni at start, but when I came across post pics of patients b/w them I would say Feriduni wins hands down in hair lining..its not rahal is bad, both are extremely excellent doctors, but when it comes to hair line feriduni does best work in it...but others could say rahal is better, but its my personal opinion
