I would do nothing. You hairline is at a good place right now to draw the line in the sand. If it gets any worse, then you could consider a transplant if you are finasteride.

In 10 years, if you have most of the hair that you have now, you may be able to consider bumping the hair line forward. You are just too young to do anything now IMO, as you future is uncertain. If your crown is solid it looks like you could end up a IIIA, but it is all really a gamble and only time can tell.

It's obvious you will probably be fighting the hair loss battle down the road.

You're only 25, so like others have said it's a bit early to see

what your "road map" of loss is going to look like. It's very

important to be able to reasonably predict the road map so

the proper actions can be taken. Gameplans are different for

guys losing a little vs a lot of hair. Donor hair is a finite number

of hairs so you use them different and in different places depending

on what your roadmap is. A guy in his twenties may want his front

restored real thick, but he may not realize that he may need some

of those limited donor hairs down the line for a crown that wasn't

balding or on his mind in his twenties, but is bald in his late thirties.

I would get on meds maybe get a consult from a top doctor

in the next year or two.

And remember the meds really dont grow much hair back,

but they help you better hold on to what you've still got.

Holding on the what you've got, or calling "time-out"

on losing anymore hair is an important tool in the battle.

Plus at your young age, you can probably expect some

major breakthroughs as you age that will help you

maintain a nice head of hair.

2Hill....I am not a big fan of shave-down for white guys.

A few guys can get away with it if they have the right

facial bone structure or if they have ripped work-out bodies.

I think your hair looks the best in picture #3.

It's a pretty good look.

Personally I think the spiked up hair look

brings more attention to your hair which

you may not want...but hey I am lots

older than you and it may be a generational thing.

You may consider going to a really top salon.

Call and ask them when making your appointment

"who is the absolute best, most cutting edge,

talented hairdresser on their staff". I am not

talking about "Super Cuts", I mean a top

highly respected hair salon if you live in a

major city. You can even Google info on

the top hairdresser in your area.

Then explain to the talented hairdresser

that your hair is very important to

you and you want to make the most of

what you have. Ask the hairdresser

what they think would look best on you.

As far as scale....I am terrible at choosing

but you are not very advanced yet.

Lol are you suggesting I need to see a top hairstylist?

I am suggesting that a top cutting edge hairdresser will be one tool

in this long battle...at least until you have a better roadmap of where

you are headed....until you possibly get surgery down the road.

This battle is usually life-long and it involves looking the best and

making the most of what we've got. A great cut or style certainly

can't hurt.

A lot of people are better off shaving their heads. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You have to decide if you hate how you look with a shaved head. Also make sure you have a tan... A freshly shaved head that looks white as the snow can throw you off. A horrible transplant is way worse than a shaved head.

Hey 2hillpark iv seen every few weeks you add these pics and ask the same questions about shaving down and if I remember rightly you posted some where you did shave right down?? I remember someone asking you if it was photo shop and you said it wasn't?? If I'm right put that pic up and it will give people a view of how you look and you can get some honest feedback on wether that looks better or worse and decide your course of action from that!! If people really think it suits you, and you agree then save your money, time , worry and stress and keep it shaved down and forget about hairloss and all its worrys, if you don't feel confident or that it suits you and are unhappy with it as its is then a ht is probably something you should look into a heavily research as I know your on propecia and although. It may stop or slow your loss it isn't going to sort out the front which is where you issue lies I believe from your previous posts!!
