Senior Member Mickey85 Posted July 1, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted July 1, 2013 Lorenzo and Reddy. If you are willing to travel and want excellent and cost-efficient surgery, Dr Hakan(Turkey/forum recommended) and Dr. Erdogan(Turkey) are in the 2EURO per graft range and do amazing work. Senior Member agenteye Posted July 1, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted July 1, 2013 I'm sure a physician will chime in (Dr. Charles?), but depending on how dense of a result you're going for and what your overall donor area will allow for total grafts..... I would say you'd need at least 2000-2500 grafts to address your temples and frontal scalp?! That wouldn't really lower your hairline at all, it would just fill it in nice to frame your face! Looks like your crown is in need of a decent amount of grafts.....so depending on how many grafts you'll have for future procedures, will determine how much your surgeon should use up front. Your recession in the front doesn't look too bad from the side shots....but I'm curious to see your whole head from the top down. The fourth photo you posted only shows your crown, so it is hard to assess the loss/thinness without seeing the full picture. I'm curious to see what your recommendation from a surgeon would be.......but again, your loss doesn't look to be terrible up front. 4737 FUT with Dr. Rahal on 11/16/2012 Daily regimen: 1/4 Proscar (1.25 mg Finasteride), Rogaine Foam (twice daily), 1000 mcg Biotin, 1 combo Vitamin D/Calcium/Magnesium, 1500 mg Glocosamine, 750 mg MSM, 1200 mg Fish Oil, 2000 mg Vitamin C, Super B-Complex, 400 I.U Vitamin E. Senior Member 1978matt Posted July 1, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted July 1, 2013 Too many Limeys on here? lol I don't think we have a disproportionately high number of baldies compared to anywhere else. A few thoughts: We don't like talking to others about our concerns, even doctors, which brings us online. The Wayne Rooney effect. Obviously we speak the same language as the US - only properly (joke). There are foreign language sites that are probably more popular to those nationalities. 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day

Senior Member 1978matt Posted July 1, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted July 1, 2013 ok guys lets come back to the topic, any suggestions? Propecia - 1mg per day is the usual dose. You will need a prescription Regaine Foam once or twice a day - I recommend buying off Ebay (Kirkland Foam is cheapest and way cheaper than Boots). Apart from that there is no other proven treatment. You can add Nizoral shampoo once or twice a week as this is believed to be beneficial - see link 3 in my signature. 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day
