  1. When I wore a piece it was amazing...on the good days. Everything fell into place, my confidence was through the roof and my life changed immediately....except on the bad days. However the key factor is confidence. I have more confidence now, because im not hiding anything. Even more so because I took action to improve my life. I feel amazing everyday and I judge myself as being bold and brave, and I project that to the world. How you move, talk, the energy you give off is more important than how you look.
  2. UPDATE: 3 MONTHS (Taken with flash on, using my phone with 5 megapixel resolution.) It seems to be coming along nicely. I can't wait for the 6 month mark!!!
  3. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Hopefully things start to pick up.
  4. 8 Weeks post op. What do you think? I think I have shed alot and I am worried to be honest.
  5. Anyone? Or go the gym etc, how long did you wait before getting back into training?
  6. How much are you paying for the "rebonding?" you would save yourself alot of money doing it yourself. Get some bubble wrap instead of doing the mirror slide. Also get some thinning shears and a razor comb to tweak the piece.
  7. Its fine, just don't bend over and try to keep your head elevated above your heart when sleeping. Using a travel pillow is excellent for this.
  8. For FUE, rest and do nothing for at least 3 days after the procedure. Then take it easy for the next week, wear a very loose fitting bandana. Always cover your head when you are outside. December in Europe will be cold, so you may even be able to use an umbrella outside. Enjoy the sights and make the most of your holiday.
  9. I want to get into Ju Jitsu or Muay Thai but I am leaning more towards Ju Jitsu. Next week I will be 8 weeks post op. Should I wait longer until I start?
  10. Should I take extra vitamin D or is the biotin enough? And what do you think about cod liver oil or omega 3 capsules?
  11. Thanks for the replies. I have started to add more kiwi and oranges to my diet.
  12. Hi, I am taking biotin and have upped the amount of fish in my diet. But I want to take some vitamins or supplements, what can people recommend? (I'm in the UK). Thanks.
  13. My advice is not to care. I can say this as I am right in the ugly duckling phase. If anyone asks, just say you moved some hair from the back to the front of your head. You may get some piss taking but actually not caring shows more balls. Its something you got done, and now you have other things to get on with.
  14. Ask a solicitor to help you word it, and coming from them it would hold more weight.
  15. Why not relax there for a days and not take any risks? You could bump your head etc If you're close to the dr, you can ask him any more questions in person.
  16. I still wear a cap when I go outside because of the UV rays. Initially I wore a very loose bandana. Now because most has shed, it looks very very odd. This is because of my traction alopecia, but I'm sucking it up and I just have to wait.
  17. My experience was very good. The staff are good, make you feel at ease and do a good job. I'm almost 6 weeks and shed alot. Ultimately the proof is in the pudding.
  18. I had my surgery done with Dr Bhatti last month. He is open to discussion on the hairline, we tried a few. I liked the way he split the face into thirds and put dots on my forehead to calculate the shape.
  19. I have slight itching in the donor area, but from what I've read that is a good sign as the nerves are healing. I think the buzzed looks good. Have you thought about SMP in the future? Personally I think its a very good option, I didn't go for it due to my CVG.
