Senior Member Spanker Posted May 16, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 16, 2013 3 to 5 days is much earlier than my shed. I really couldn't answer. Senior Member Cant decide Posted May 17, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 17, 2013 They will grow back. When mine shed, the ends looked a variety of ways (hooks, scabs, white, black, etc). No worries... Senior Member gillenator Posted May 17, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 17, 2013 Hi, I am curious about this kind of shedding on about 3 - 5 days post op, it will regrow or not or it will totally death? The black bulb at the bottom some of them have white scab. These are hair shafts and not the hair follicles themselves. So yes, not a problem and will grow back. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted May 18, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 18, 2013 Mcdes, While the shedding is definitely early (normal shedding usually occurs between day 10 and month 2), I see hair shafts with defined bulbs, and not dislodged follicular unit grafts. Because of this, I think you should see regrowth. However, I would share this information with your hair transplant surgeon and show him/her the same image. Good luck!
