Senior Member Dr. Richard Keller Posted January 30, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 30, 2013 40 year old with 4V patterned hair loss who had approximately 3,850 grafts transplanted, including a touch up utilizing approx. 700 grafts to repair a childhood scar. Density of grafts varies with approx. 40 grafts per cm2 in a feathered and shingled density placement in front and with a larger graft placement in a natural staggered array of 35 cm2 in regions behind the framework. This is one of the most pleasant persons that I have worked with and I believe this procedure has enhanced his appearance greatly. Photos shown are pre-op, post-op and 15 months post-op. Senior Member Cant decide Posted February 14, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted February 14, 2013 What I love about this result is that this guy is 40 so a mature hairline was definitely in order. In looking at his temples, one could say they are still very recessed but on a 40 year old guy keeping that hairstyle and with that density and the defined temple points, it looks awesome. Again, great job doc and hats off to the vision you had when placing the grafts where you did!! Senior Member Cant decide Posted September 4, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted September 4, 2014 I thought I would give this a bump. In my opinion, this is one of the most well planned and best outcomes I have ever seen. I just love how age, head shape, style, etc. were all taken into consideration here to give an age appropriate, dense, and fashionable result. Senior Member Dr. Richard Keller Posted September 8, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 8, 2014 Cant decide, Thank you for your comments. I try to have my patients focused on keeping appropriate expectations for their future hair loss and plan accordingly. This patient was able to keep a balanced perspective on a reasonable number of grafts which would produce a dynamic image change. He was a pleasure to work with and I will look forward to posting an update when he travels back to the Chicago area.
