What's my donor density?

I wonder if any trained eyes could make an estimate?

I measured with a tape and I reckon a Dr could get up to 35cm x 1cm (maybe more width but lets say 1cm for simplicity)

So 35 x 1 x density = ....... grafts

4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013

1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018

763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020

Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day

Photos can be tricky but it does look like you have better than average density. I would estimate 90-100 FU's per sq. cm.. A 1 cm x 30 cm strip should yield 2700-3000 FU grafts. A 1 cm x 35 cm strip should yield 3150-3500 FU grafts. Obviously if the strip is wider than 1 cm the numbers go up.

You actually look like like you have exceptional donor density and pretty good caliber hair.

Thanks guys.

I just looked back at some old emails and a rep at a fairly well known (but not recommended) clinic, thought I could get up to 3500.

I remember at the time (a year ago) he used a small camera attached to a laptop to look at the scalp density.
