Any questions to Milena Lardi?

We'll be offering it starting in January 2013. Australia is a long ways away from the US to offer yourself to be a guinea pig! :)

Janna,

Has Milena had any trouble addressing linear scars or FUE scars with her SMP technique?

Some SMP providers have had trouble getting FUE scars in particular to accept the pigments.

Thanks,

AKM

Scar tissue in general, regardless of whether it is linear or not, is different than skin tissue. Milena usually performs a test in a one centimeter square patch to see how the ink "takes". If it takes fine then she can proceed with a full on SMP session for the scar. It can work incredibly well and when I saw the work she did for Spex in his donor scar I was beyond impressed.

Problem is, if the ink does not take well then it can spread or "bleed" out and look splotchy as opposed to looking like fine dots or stubble. This isn't a limitation of the ink but rather a limitation of the tissue.

Hasson & Wong will also be offering Beauty Medical SMP in January. Our technicians just returned from Milan where they were fully trained by Milena. There is one final step that we are required to take before we can offer this officially and Milena will be in our office in early January to supervise and assist.

The Truth is in The Results

Dr. Victor Hasson and Dr. Jerry Wong are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
