James,

I'm sorry to hear you're not happy. Hair transplantation isn't perfect, but it can help many restore hair and confidence if their expectations are realistic. It's done wonder for myself esteem however, my hair is still thin even after 3 full procedures and in the middle of waiting for the 4th to grow out. But knowing I'd be completely bald without them has helped.

Of course, there's a lot more to life than hair. Sure nobody likes balding, but try to remember that most people in our lives could care less about whether we have hair or not. They value who we are as a person.

Sure, keep searching hair loss solutions, but go out and enjoy what life has to offer :-)

Best wishes,

Bill

I know my life would be a whole lot better if I didnt get stared at everywhere I go, if I did'nt have a giant scar at the back of my head and ridiculous looking pubes on my forehead. Also, the $10k I handed over to the people who did this to me, yes that would make my life a little better too.

SRK, I know what you are going through. I too had very poor results from HT's back in the early 1990's.

I am always afraid to take my hat off for fear of being embarassment.

This is why I am doing my research on this site and others like the Bald Truth.

This information was not avaiable 15+ years ago. Then again the technology was not what it is now.

Again, I feel for you and know what you are going through.

I give a lot of credit to guys like Bill and others for stepping forward and being open about they'er hairloss problem.

Someday with the help of a great HT Doc I will be free of my hats.

Hey Slaps,

I've tried to pm, but have not heard anything. I did not know that you had an issue with your scar. I'm not happy with my scar from my second procedure either. Have things become any easier for you? I sincerely hope so.

Hi John sorry about the pm, very remiss of me. No im not happy about the scar, its far from invisible even with a grade 4 clipper icon_frown.gif

With camera and light settings my HT looks good, sadly in real life, not so.
