  1. Patsy, Before you make a final decision on NuHart, get a consult with Dr Robert Haber in Cleveland, Ohio. I had a consult with NuHart years ago and was not impressed. I am assuming you live in the Pittsburgh Pa. area. Don't let travel stop you from getting the best HT you can. Check out the Doctors reccomended on by Pat and Bill on the Hair Transplant Network. They will not steer you wrong. Dr. Robert Haber is really not that far from you if you live in the Pittsburgh area. He is one of the top HT Doctors in the World. Also research Dr Ron Shaprio, Dr Glenn Charles, and Dr Victor Hasson and Jerry Wong from Hasson&Wong My advice is get many more consults and be a choosey in who you pick! Good Luck with your future HT. Johnny4hair
  2. Joe, Another outstanding job by Dr Wong and his team! Not only do you folks raise the bar, but then you exceed it! Hasson & Wong are the best IMO. When I do decide to get repair work and HT's done, you folks will be 1st on my list. Johnny4hair
  3. Joe, I think this patient got great results from Dr Wong. This guy does not look creepy. He is just an average guy trying to improve his hair. i think he looks great and it is another outstanding job by Dr Wong. Hasson&Wong, IMO are the best in the field of hair restoration. Joe, you put yourself out on this forum and others forums which shows that you and the clinic you work for have nothing to hide. I have the greatest respect for you as a patient advocate and Hasson&Wong! I am leaning toward H&W for my future HT! I live Ohio where we have a fine Doctor in Dr Bob Haber. But I have to say I haven't seen the results from Dr Haber that I have seen from H&W. That is not a knock on Dr Haber, he is a great HT Doc, but no one can dispute the work of H&W Keep up the great work! Johnny4Hair
  4. Dr Lindsey, Julia, is a lucky girl to have such a caring father. I hope and pray for the best for you and your family. Julia must be quite the fighter! I hope 2010 is the year that her treatments come to an end and she lives the life of every other little girl. God Bless you. Johnny4hair
  5. I notice I see very few hts that have been done in a NW6/7 that has crown recession. What I mean by crown recession is the length of the hairloss down the back of the head. Is there any pics of any clinics that have done any hts to correct this? I know the crown in general is considered a black hole. I have seen NW6/7 work of hasson&wong but not the deep recession of the crown. If I am wrong please post pics, thank you.
  6. SRK, I know what you are going through. I too had very poor results from HT's back in the early 1990's. I am always afraid to take my hat off for fear of being embarassment. This is why I am doing my research on this site and others like the Bald Truth. This information was not avaiable 15+ years ago. Then again the technology was not what it is now. Again, I feel for you and know what you are going through. I give a lot of credit to guys like Bill and others for stepping forward and being open about they'er hairloss problem. Someday with the help of a great HT Doc I will be free of my hats.
  7. Pat, because we are at times so vain, we tend to lose our purpose about the real gifts that we have. Our appearance at times we feel is the only thing people see. We need to judge and to be judge on our actions and the way we treat our fellow man. We all want to look good and feel we are attractive. With good looks at times comes confidence and self assuarnce. But sometimes we forget that to have outter beauty does not translate to inter beauty. Because someone may be less attractive does not mean they are not a beautiful person. I want my hair that I had in my early 20's but I also want the wisdom that I have gain now in my 40's. Looking forward, the health of my loved ones and happiness far out weigh my hairloss. To have good health is a blessing. Everything else is a bonus. To all Happy Thanksgiving!
  8. Hairshare, "my bad" ! Should have been Dr Wong not Hasson. Both seem to be the best in transplants in my opinion. Again, you look great!
  9. Hairshare, you look great! I bet people you haven't seen in a while hardly recognize you. Can you post a before pic of the back of your head? I am just curious of how much hairloss in the crown and also how far down the back of your head. I bet you sing Dr Hassons name everyday! I wish you the best, but then again you got it! Johnny4hair
  10. Wanthair When you had your proceedure with hasson&wong, I assume you had the repair work and the 3700 grafts done at the same time? Johnny4hair
  11. wanthairs, Thanks for the reply. When you say you are similar to Jotronics in what way? Norwood scale, repair work, hair type? If I may ask, how many grafts did you get? Was the repair work also part of your proceedure? thank you, Johnny4hair
  12. Bill, Thanks for the feed back. I am just inquring about the results that Jotronics has had with Hasson & Wong. Joe's overall results are amazing!! As well as Bobman! I guess the real questions I have are to get answers for myself as Dr Charles made mention of in his reply to me, are to get pics of my hair transplant situation and submit them to different clinics for review. I have to say I am very impress with the results you have had with Hasson & Wong. Your hair looks freaking GREAT! Good Luck to you on your hair transplant journey! I think you are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! You and Pat are dojng a great job with this site. Thank you, Johnny4hair
  13. Dr Charles thank you for the feed back. I know it is hard to give medical advice with out seeing the actual patient. Dr Haber is an outstanding Doctor and we are very lucky to have someone of his high calilber and reputation in the Cleveland, Ohio. I am more than likely going to go with Dr Haber for my repair and future proceedures. I am just curious about the success of other hair transplant patients from other Doctors and clinics that have posted on this site and other hair transplant sites. After what happen to me in the past, I am very cautious about future procedures. I want to get as much information as possible to make a decision that will affect me the rest of my life. Again Dr Charles thank you. I will take your advice about pictures to post in the future.
  14. Hi folks, I am new to this type of forum so please bear with me. I had hair transplants procedure back in the earley 1990's. It was 4 procedures that resulted in 1000 mini and micro grafts. To my misfortune the procedures were performed by a Doctor that is not listed on this web site. The grafts are horrable to look at. I have had these grafts for over 15 plus yrs. I live in the Cleveland Ohio area and have consulted with Dr Robert Haber. I have to say, Dr Haber is a straight shooter who was very honest with me. I only wish I had met Dr Haber 15 yrs ago. Dr Haber said I was a good candidate for surgrey. I am a NW 6 my balding is like Jotronics of Hasson&Wong fame. I am 45 yrs old with average donor hair and good laxity. My question, is the results that guys like Jotronics and Bobman of Hasson&Wong a fluke or can NW 6 folks like myself get the same results or something close. I want to say the folks that this message board have been a real help and inspiration. Please excuse my grammer and typo errors. Johnny4hair
