I agree.The only thing is,I think I'm nearly there.I shave my head most days,unless I'm not going anywhere. I think I look good,the only thing thats annoying is the hair shadow on my head. Is there a way of removing all the hair what is left,then I could really put hair to rest. I've been following Hair Multiplication/Cloning for 4-5 years now,and I do not think anyone is any closer than they was 4-5 years ago. Hair transplant scare me,as I do not want to chase hair forever.

The Westminster Clinic is Dr Rogers clinic. Over the few years I've been l've been interested/concerned about hairloss I've never seen any good reports on almost any UK clinics,beware.

Shave it all off you might be surpriced,don't let hairloss take over your life.Its easy to fall into a patern of panic. The best thing I ever did was shave it all off,shave it in the shower/bath every day,make it part of your daily wash routine. Once everyone is used to seeing you like that,the comments get fewer and fewer. Whatever you do don't rush into anything.that you could end up regretting.

What a load of rubbish if you research,you will see that receding at 17 is very normal. I'm 45 I started balding at 17.Between the years of 17 - 20 I went to a NW2-3.I stayed that way until mid thirties,when I noticed thinning again,then when I got to 42 I got concerned,worried,panic,etc. I'm a NW3-4 now.I have done a lot of research regarding having an hair transplant,only to realize that its to risky.Socially in the work group I'm in I'd also have the piss taken,so I think its a no go. What I have done for the last couple of years is shave my head every day,it looks better than a thinning hair look,which is more acceptable these days. No balding at 17 is quite normal,look to your Dad older uncles for future reference Heres another thing if you are reasonably good looking with hair,you will not look to bad without,and a total shaved look looks good if you keep in trim,no one wants to be fat and bald. At 17 its annoying,and whats worse is you can look up information nowadays on the internet,when I started losing hair I always thought you never went bald until your older,how wrong I was.

Do some more home work DHL seem to have a very bad reputation online on most hairloss sites. I had an online consultation with them when I first started being concerned..They was a little bit to pushy cold calling with a price match,etc.They acted like I was buying a pair of jeans down the market. I just shave my head for now.I've researched to much and decided I do not want to chase hair to many cowboys out there.To many repair patients. If you do your research you see there is not a good FUE clinic in UK,so you'll have to go aboard.

Why not try shaving before having hair transplant,in other words before you pay or arrange a hair transplant,you might just like what you see. Just think of the money,time,etc you will save,but make sure you do meds!

Spot on Judge.Its annoying really to have to shave my hair every day or two.Yes I'd look better with hair,but by shaving it down I do not have to avoid catching a glimpse of myself in say a shop window with my hairline half way up my head,then getting p*ssed off and miserable for the rest of the day - I remember this well!

This is one of the better site.We are or seem to be allowed to speak our minds.Some of the other sites delete postings on a regular basis,especially if its a posting knocking one of there adverisers. As for your hairloss.If I was you I'd shave it all off,which does look quite good on younger men,then if your not happy in a year or two and hairloss as stabalized,have a few consultations with some top HT surgeons. In the meantime to a bit of research,the more research the more knowledge you will have.

Thanks Dr Feller it was just the way another poster had wrote it,which made me think he had. Do you have an opinion on shaved heads after transplant.Some of us can just accept a good shadow look,instead of full head of hair. Thanks in advance

Hi..Yes I have considered this option.I have actually got hair on top,just not got any on NW zone 1,and not much on NW zone 2. The big problem is I work for myself,business would collapse if I took more than a week off.I also work in a male dominated environment,if I'm honest I'm not sure I'd take the stick about being to vain.I do not know if I'm the only one who thinks like that.I'm in the UK.Hair Transplants are not a every day thing. The other option I like would be to have all my hair folicles removed by lazer,which may seem extreme,but I looked into this and thats not a straight forward option either. Oh well I'll have to stay how I am for now at least.It gets easier as we get older,no one says anything about baldness to you once you turn fourty.Merry Christmas to everyone anyway!!!
