Regular Member shahswap Posted January 5, 2012 Regular Member Posted January 5, 2012 I wanted to know how safe it is to wear cap 10 days after the surgery? I don't have baseball cap and cannot get it here in India, but my cap is reasonably lose and not very tight. By 10 days are roots tight and its safe enough to wear cap? Thanks

Senior Member orlhair1 Posted January 5, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 5, 2012 Wearing a cap loosely will be no problem. I wore a loose baseball cap the day of my surgery (the clinic showed me how to wear it without disturbing the grafts). Senior Member gillenator Posted January 5, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 5, 2012 If you do strip, be sure that the band of the ball cap is not tight and rubbing the sutures, keep it loose! Senior Member Tonycc Posted January 6, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 6, 2012 Some doctors have a 10 day followup. What was your followup with your doctor after the procedure? 10 days is typically fine, but these cases are so unique that it couldn't hurt to consult YOUR doctor. Great question!
Regular Member donp Posted January 7, 2012 Regular Member Posted January 7, 2012 wearing a proper cap (that doesn't disturb grafts) is a better idea from day1 as it will be a protection
