I shot this video in Italy back in February 2010 and the interview was conducted in Italian. There are English subtitles at the bottom of the video. This patient received 5124 grafts in one session from Dr. Hasson and the result shown is at one year post-op. I do want to point out in the interest of helping the new researchers on here that "high sides" are so important. When you look at a before pic and you see baldness from hairline to crown, you just assume " totally bald". However, having those high sides (alla all a those NW A's) just makes such a difference because grafts that otherwise would be used on those crown dips or sides can now be used on the center crown with 5000 grafts. This is why this patient was able to get full coverage from front to back With 5000 grafts whereas another patient with front to back baldness ( non A's) would need to stop at the crown because those grafts would be needed at the sides. This may seem obvious to those of us on here a while but maybe not to a newbie. Joe, if any of what I have said is not accurate, please feel free to correct me. On a separate note Joe, I know you stated in the past that Spanish patients tend to have great donor/ laxity. Do you find the same with Italian patients in general? About how long was this guy "in the chair" for 5124 grafts? Is it ok for a patient to wear a loose fitting baseball cap when out in the public during the first month or so post-op?
