9 Month Update Dr. Feller

Here's my 9 month update. First pic is pre this surgery. Last pic is immediately post first surgery with Dr. Feller. The crown still needs to be styled properly for optimum coverage, but I still feel a ton of stubble so I know this will just continue to improve (also the existing hair will thicken considerably). I am quite optimistic about the final result.

The goal of my next surgery (Dr. Feller estimated 1200 grafts) is to complete the temple point restoration, close off the temple corners, and hit a small, postage stamp size area in my forelock. When that's complete I will be where I thought my first HT surgery with Karamikian would have gotten me back in 2006 and with a hairline better than the one I had in my 20s! It should also end my need for any more HTs as close to 100% of my hair is now from HT. MPB, I bid you adieu, and a big F.U. (that's follicular unit)!

One more comparison shot: Immediate post Karamikian, then post 2 surgeries with Dr. Feller.... The work Karamikian did in my crown looks laughable now and the fact he took $6k from me is sickening. I feel like he robbed me and I am so glad he no longer has a practice.

Thanks Capelli. You must be getting psyched for your procedure too, especially seeing all the great Rahal results lately that look identical to your situation. What's your surgery date?

newhair, he did excise a few of the egregious ones up front, but he left a majority of them in and planted around them. there's a few up front that I'd like to have taken out still and redistributed. I think we can concentrate on those this time as it's a smaller session.

badbeat, who is your surgeon? It is exciting to think you can realistically have your hair back and reverse time a bit. I look at pictures of myself at 30 pre any HT work and when I was buzzing super close and I look like an old man.

cant decide: thanks much!

Hairthere...my HT date is Tuesday, Dec 6th...driving up early Monday morning...going to have my consult with Dr. Rahal in the afternoon to finalize my hairline design...still not 100% sure about the widows peak...i am closer to saying just keep it straight vs the peak. Then surgery the next day! I'm getting excited...the nerves haven't truly set in yet though...guess I am confident in the doctor and like you said he has been producing a lot of recent great results which def help my nerves! I am staying at Foxbar till Saturday...then driving back...like a 9 hour drive but I enjoy road trips! lol

Wow. Basically I could say the exact same thing, word for word, about my first doctor.

Hairthere, you are looking awesome right now. I'm of course impressed by your coverage but also the hairline. Very natural. I'd never assume anything has been done.

Very excited for your next procedure!

aaron, Thanks so much bro! What's amazing is a repo guy contacted me once via this forum and he was looking for Karamikian. That's how I discovered he was out of business. I realized after my surgery with him that he had no microscopes in the office. The repo guy told me they had been taken!
