Senior Member ShiningDome Posted December 26, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted December 26, 2011 irishsailor, I concur with Newhairplease! Looks like progress. I noticed the redness and itching has intensified in the last few days for me as well (I am two days shy of 6 weeks past HT). I get at least one or two new spots/pimples per day as well. I attribute the redness/itchiness to my current living environment (very dry climate - Afghanistan), but I am secretly optimistic that it's the new hair sprouting as well. Taking MSM, Biotin, and Omega 3 in addition to my daily multivitamin! Newhairplease - best of luck next month! Senior Member irishsailor Posted January 6, 2012 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 6, 2012 Spex, I know yr right mate, i promised myself i wouldnt try and look at my hair too much til i got to the 4th month point, however i seem to have fallen into that 2 month trap where we all seem to start hoping we may be an early grower. All good though, after i got my staples out i had full sensation back in my donar area, and had full sensation back in my recipient area within a month. Dr Feller certainly has magic hands Hair Transplant Dr Feller Oct 2011 Hair Transplant Dr Lorenzo June 2014
Senior Member chrisdav Posted January 8, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted January 8, 2012 It looks fine at the moment Irish sailor. I am guessing you are around week 10 now, so it is very, very early days. Patience is important and i have had to learn that during this process as i am very impatient myself to 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.
Senior Member irishsailor Posted January 8, 2012 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 8, 2012 Chrisdav, Thanks for taking the time to comment. I did well for the first couple of months, but i think i need to get a hobby and take my mind of things now as i seem to be checking the mirror more hoping i may be one of the lucky view and be an early grower Hair Transplant Dr Feller Oct 2011 Hair Transplant Dr Lorenzo June 2014
Senior Member orlhair1 Posted January 8, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted January 8, 2012 It is very early, and you are entering the fun stage! I started seeing my first couple of hairs pop through at around the 2 month mark, so you may be seeing a few at this point.....then the fun really started. It is hard not to look.....I told myself I wouldn't, but it is hard not too. Grow well! Senior Member irishsailor Posted January 31, 2012 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 31, 2012 Well i have reached the 3 month stage, cant believe how much i have looked in the mirror over the last few weeks. I know from previous experience and also doing research that im still at the early stages of seeing anything grow however there is giving advice which were all good at and then theres being the patient which none of us ever enjoy:mad: Would be nice if anyone has any comments, i buzzed my hair down to grade 4 to even things out and have a good look at my scar and see how things were coming along. Senior Member chrisdav Posted January 31, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted January 31, 2012 (edited) It looks fine for 3 months. All those hairs will not all spring up at once but gradually will start to pop up. It's hard isn't it Irish sailor, i am 2/3 weeks ahead of you Got to be patient.
