Senior Member Dutch Posted June 20, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 20, 2011 That's a massive difference given the fact that your hair looks fine. Glad you're happy with it. Did the crown get some grafts too? Is that 5200 in one pass? Do you have more pics, a bit clearer? http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2329
Delcolorado
I didn't receive any grafts on the crown. The grafts were done in one pass or in one day. Sorry, i just took this with my camera phone so it's not a clear as I would like. I could possibly email them to you if you want.
Senior Member Dutch Posted June 20, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 20, 2011 Dr Wong did a great job & I'm glad for you. Do you think you'll return to address the crown? Do you know which Norwood level you were? http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2329
Delcolorado
Thanks. I'm a Norwood 7. At this time, I'm not planning on addressing the crown. Dr. Wong did such a great job grafting around the crown and making it look very natural and tapered. Most doctors and even the consultant for Dr. Wong when looking at my pictures said that I would be lucky if i got 3000 grafts. The day of my surgery, Dr. Wong said that my scalp had good elasticity and he'd be able to get around 5000 grafts. I did the scalp excercises faithfully because I knew that I a very little donor hair in the back and sides of my head.
