Regular Member Suzanne J Posted January 22, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted January 22, 2011 This 30 y/o male presented to Dr. Chris Pawlinga at our office for hair transplantation 3 years ago, and has undergone 3 transplant procedures of 1153, 1292, and 1304 FU's each time across the hairline and filling in both temples. The total number of hairs he received was 7744. His FU's broke down as follows: 20% 1-hair; 50% 2-hair, 30% 3-hairs. His photos are attached and progress from the "before" photo to one with the lines drawn at the time of his first procedure, and to a recent photo a year after his third procedure. Some close-ups are also included. Suzanne J. N.B. I work as office manager for Saratoga Hair Transplant Center.

Senior Member RCWest Posted January 22, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 22, 2011 While this is outstanding work, why did take so many FU's to do such a small area? He just did the temples and hairline correct? Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? Senior Member Sean Posted January 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 23, 2011 The temples definitely play a big role in hair transplantation. Really gives a well framed face. Looks great.
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted January 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 23, 2011 Suzanne J, This is a very impressive hairline. Based on family history and current balding, is his hair loss likely to progress much further and is he taking any meds to stabilize it?
