Senior Member orangehair Posted January 7, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 7, 2011 (edited) This patient was treated by both Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. The result is after one FUT totaling 3475 follicular units transplanted. Heavier allocation to the front & top with lighter transition into the vertex. As expected at this interval the vertex is behind in growth but within the next 4- 6 months should be more fully developed. 1011 singles, 1774 doubles, and 690 threes = 6629 Hairs Edited January 7, 2011 by orangehair VP Patient & Media Relations for The Hair Loss Doctors by Robert J. Senior Member Janna Posted January 7, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 7, 2011 Wow, impressive results. He's got more growth to look forward to in the coming months too, especially in the crown. Hats off to your entire team for a beautiful result at 8.5 months. Patient must have been ecsatic not having to shave recipient area before surgery. Glad he didn't have issues with permanent shock loss. Nice one! Senior Member orangehair Posted January 7, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 7, 2011 (edited) thanks for the comments Janna....yes this is not an unusual case in that we didn't shave the recipient area - the patient was able to transition back into his normal ways after a couple weeks and as you can see below even at a little over 4 months, there were no signs of significant shock and some decent early development of the transplant.
