Regular Member TheKMan Posted February 18, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted February 18, 2009 Hi All, Here we are at the 4 month mark. And I'm officially out of the doldrums stage (copyright Eman). The 3 month mark was very disappointing but like many others, I have noticed some growth beginning between 3 & 4 months. I don't have a balding look from frontal view anymore (just the "thinning hair" look). Being 6'0, this is good enough for most of my interactions I have more hair in my hairline than I can remember anytime during my bald days. The crown is coming along as well, although not quite as fast. I am posting pics from pre-op in this album, along with 1 month, 2.5 month and 4 month updates so you can see the progression through these 4 months. Your comments are welcome. PS: The scar, luckily, has become pretty much a non-issue for me. I'll try and get some pics of it tomorrow and upload them as well. Bill - Seemiller
Kman, I'm glad to see that hair regrowth started for you. The first several months are the hardest part. Now that you are out of the doldrums, I expect the next few months will be filled with excitement as your new locks grow in :-). Thanks for keeping us posted. Best wishes, Bill

Regular Member redkun9 Posted February 18, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted February 18, 2009 I like how things are looking, and glad that you feel the same. Best wishes on future growth! Also, I was curious what your density figures were (eg FU's per sq. cm) and how they were distributed (crown vs. frontal third)? Cheers.

Regular Member TheKMan Posted February 18, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 18, 2009 Thanks Guys! This is going to make a big difference - I can feel it. Eman - I'm at "I want more growth!" already Redkun9 - I don't have the density figures but as far as distribution goes, I believe the approximate distribution was 3500 for the frontal third and 1500 for the crown. Raphael84
Kman, A definate improvement in both frontal and crown regions after only 4 months. Impressed with the early crown growth as this normally seems to take much longer to show. May the months ahead bring excitement and much growth! I Agree to the Terms of Se
Curious if next update you would take pictures to also document the donor scar. It seems to still be quite evident, although slightly less so at 4 month mark. Do you have much shock loss at this point?
