Senior Member Sparse Posted September 1, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 1, 2009 I'm in awe, comb. You must be thrilled. Hey, I just hit the 5-week mark after a 5500-graft session with Dr. Hasson, and I think I'm starting to see some wispy little hairs poking through in the transplant area (especially around the new hairline). Do you remember when you first started to see a little growth there? I know you were already seeing massive regrowth at 3 months, so I'm curious to know when those hairs were first detectable . . . Bill - Seemiller
Comb, You lucky dog! Only 5 months? I can hardly believe you've had that much growth at this early stage. It already looks like you have very little hair loss if any. I'm very happy for you my friend! All the Best, Bill
Senior Member Severn Posted September 2, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 2, 2009 Is it possible he got lucky and is experiencing almost full growth right off the bat? If someone asked me to guess the number of grafts, I would have said 7000+ and at full maturity. I can't envision what we are seeing in the pics is not full growth with 5400. Regular Member Mane Attraction Posted September 2, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted September 2, 2009 Those are some amazing results, comb! Congrats on the new locks! I'd kill for that scar (or lack thereof), too. My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Rahal
Guest comb
?¤hank you all guys for the nice comments, I am ecstatic myself! Sparse, congratulations on your procedure, you will be looking great in a few months, that closure looks perfect! I would say that I saw the first activity in terms of new growth(not grafts that remained) at around 1,5 to 2 months, when I had an outline of a hairline that only I could see. However if you see my pics you will notice massive difference between 2,5 and 3 months, which is when it started to get very exciting! Bill, Severn, I think I am definitely one of the lucky ones in terms of speed of growth, but I am also hoping for more. My characteristics are very good and help a lot with coverage. Mane, I have been pleasantly surprised with the scar myself, although I remember Dr Hasson saying it was a "beautiful closure, with no tension". At my current length(pictures), I cannot find the scar, apart from the left edge where it's maybe 2 mm instead of 1. And some shockloss I had in the donor has not fully returned. Senior Member Sparse Posted September 2, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 2, 2009 Comb: thanks for the supportive comments. By the way, do you think you might be willing some time to post a pic that shows how your hair now frames your *entire* face? (perhaps by simply blocking out your eyes and/or some part of your lower face). Your hair looks amazing, but I'm having trouble getting a good sense of low/high the hairline placement is and how it complements the forehead and the rest of the face. (I'm curious, of course, because you and I have had similar work done . . .) My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Hasson
Senior Member Rachmunas4life Posted September 2, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 2, 2009 How can H/W be so darn good and flawless, while there are so many other surgeons that are butchering people out there??? I'd pay to fly there because going to them (in my mind) would be a guarenteed excellent result!

Freaking awesome result!!! Somehow, it's even more impressive in those last two pics that show how naturally it frames your face; thanks for taking the time to post them. Dr. Hasson is a genius, and if I wind up with a result anywhere close to yours 4 months from now, I'll be ecstatic.
