Bill - Seemiller
Dr. Ahmad Chaudhry, Welcome to our community. In order to get an accurate understanding of this patients hair restoration results, I request that you provide the following: 1. Before/immediately post op/after pictures from multiple angles (at the minimum a hairline view, top down view, donor area) 2. Number of grafts with hair count breakdowns performed. 3. Surgical method used (FUT, FUE/FIT, etc). Additional questions: A. Do you do ultra refined follicular unit grafting? B. If strip, do you use a microscope to cut the grafts? C. If strip, how many blades does the surgical instrument have that you use to remove the strip? D. What size tools do you use for each size graft to make recipient incisions? E. Where is your clinic located? Thanks, Bill
Senior Member NervousNelly Posted September 1, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 1, 2007 Just my opinion, but I believe the hairline artistry is a little weird. I would like to have seen a little bit more of a recession in the temple region. The end result looks good, but it is a photo from a little bit of a distance and only one angle. I would like to see other views and lighting. NN NN Dr.Cole,1989. ??graftcount Dr. Ron Shapiro. Bill - Seemiller
Dr. Ahmad Chaudhry, So if I am correct this was a 4500 graft procedure yielding 7500 hairs? It seems a little odd to me that the number of grafts and hair count you provided are exactly a certain number. What are the chances that you'd get not only a 4500 graft session, 2000 single hairs, 2000 double hairs and 500 triple hairs? Are you giving me estimates or an exact breakdown? Though what you are stating above is possible - I'd have a better chance of hitting the lottery! Regarding other points... You'll have to forgive my ignorance on this - but what is Mentis? I'm glad to hear that you use a single blade to remove the strip. Regarding the instrumentation you use to make recipient incisions - can you provide the type of instrument and diameter of the incision? For example, do you use needles or flat blades? For a single haired FU, what is the diameter (in milimeters) of the instrument making the incision? What about for 3 haired FUs? Do you typically omit 4 haired FUs? If so, what do you do with them? I look forward to seeing more of photos from this patient that will tell the real story. Thanks again, Bill
HALLIAN
Well I would like to add my comments The hair line is certainly not natural and I agree with the comment that some recession has to be given on temporal areas. The total session as I understand was 4500 grafts in one surgery so what was the density? how wide is the strip how long was the strip how is the donor area

Senior Member HK500 Posted January 19, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted January 19, 2009 GQ Very funny picture! Or creepy depending on your mood... I have a feeling we won't hear from this Dr on this site again Asia, India, etc... seem to me to be what North America must have been before public access consumer driven forums such as this one forced the unethical doctors to clean up their act or disappear. It sure still is the free for all on the wild frontier over there. My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Siporin
Senior Member Dr. Mohammad Humayun Mohma Posted January 24, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted January 24, 2009 My comments would only be lim ited to the natural look. Though doing 4500 grafts or even around that number is good skills but unfortunately the design is far than natural. Two questions Can we see his scar how long did it take to do 4500 in my life I had done only 10 patients or so more than 4000 grafts. most are less than that. Asian skin has very thick hair and the density is generally between 90 FU per sq cm. so you really need a very good mobility to get 4500 grafts. so what you need is 25 cm long with 2 cm wide strip to do 4500 grafts. 2 cm is a lot to close unless its a very very felxible donor area. Just try to concentrate on the natural looking hair line, hair transplant is not about giving hair, its about giving a very natural looks that cannot be detected. --- I am a medical advisor to Lexington International and Hairmax. What ever I say is my personal opinion. Dr. Mohmand is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network
Regular Member TheKMan Posted January 26, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted January 26, 2009 LOL!!! How do people think they can get away with stuff like this? Copying pics off Dr. Rahal's website and then posting on this forum? It's like me posting a public profile on American online dating sites with a Leonardo DiCaprio picture.
