Senior Member Bobman Posted October 10, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 10, 2007 Hey Everyone!!! I'm going in for my Third and final procedure next month! For those that don't remember me or know me, in September of 2004 I had 4,849 grafts with Hasson & Wong...focusing on the front/top of my head. Then nine months later returned for a 2,955 grafts session for the crown, for a total of 7,804 grafts in two sessions! I've posted some pics to show my progress from the start and finish of my journey. And now, I'm going back to Hasson & Wong for my Third and final procedure to take advantage of the Tri-Closure technique and maybe get about 1,000 grafts and thick up the crown. Miss you all very much and if you know me at all.....you know I'll be keeping you posted! 🙃

Senior Member nobuzz4me Posted October 10, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 10, 2007 Bobman, I posted on your other thread. I think your results are the best I have seen, right up with Jotronic. You mention Trico closure - did you not have this the first 2 procedures?? Also, how many grafts do you have left? Will you combine the scar into one? NoBuzz
Senior Member Salt-N-Peppa Posted October 11, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 11, 2007 Yo, good to have you back Bob. Your results are what insipered me to have a ( two actually) HT's. Curious, if for a possible 1000 grafts, you will shave your mane or have Dr Hasson work between the existing length hair?? Also, do you routinely use Dermamatch or other product to enhance you look?? Thanks bro, I look forward to your new chronicles. Congratulations on our work so far, and best of luck in this next and final procedure for you. Watch out Derek Zoolander! Again, awesome work thus far and it's pretty easy to tell that this has been a positive life changing event. Regards, Seth
Senior Member Bobman Posted October 11, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 11, 2007 nobuzz4me: The Trico wasn't being "used" at the time of my last procedure. But after I saw the end results of an H&W client only nine months out...and for the life of me, I couldn't find the scar. After that, I just knew I'd have to go in just one more time. I'll have to get back to you regarding what kind of donor I'd have left. SnP: Good to be back! Wow, I'm honored! I do plan to shave the "mane"....need that Buzz Cut....Gotta, Gotta have it! LOL No, I do not use Dermamatch or anything. But wondered just what it would do for me....hmmmmm? sah1974: Yes, Dr. Hasson has made much possible for me and thanks for the compliment on my pics. Stay tuned! 🙃

Senior Member Salt-N-Peppa Posted October 13, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 13, 2007 Larry, I plan on posting new pics real soon. I am almost 9 months post HT #2 which was essentially all crown work. As you may know, the crown seems to grow in much slower than other areas of the head.............. stay tuned for my results. Regular Member ca_hairloss Posted October 14, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted October 14, 2007 This is fantastic....must have costed a lot though... From many posts in the forum I have seen that most of the times a single HT does not suffice...would it be correct to assume that everyone mostly needs atleast 2 HTs ?? I am 33 and started lossing at 31...anyone minds taking a guess at how many FUTs I might need if I were to go for HT... (pic attached) Also, is it correct to say that there are chances that donor area will not grow hair back ? (pardon my ignorance folks)...
Senior Member Bobman Posted October 14, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 14, 2007 ca_hairloss: The cost could never outweigh the life changing results. In comparison to what I've heard some guys paying for thier HTs...mine was cheap. But if you really want some answers on price and ANYTHING else for that matter regarding hair transplants, contact Mike Ferko of Hasson & Wong. (mike@hassonandwong.com) In response to your assumption regarding mostly everyone needing two HTs...if you have the right doctor thats aggressive in his graft extraction abilities, you may not ever need two HTs. I did because my hairloss was at its maximum and my strategy for placement called for two. I hope that helped, but do contact Mike. Mrjb: Thanks man! It's a trip when people say that...when I remember just a short time ago I was bald and wishing that Dr.Hasson would help me to look like Futzy and guys alike. I'm flattered and honored you think of my results that way! balody: 20 years!?!...Thank you very much! Crown....temples.....crown.....temples.....polish sausage....polish sausage....crown....temples....LOL! Guess it's gonna be a big surprise for everyone when I get this last one done eh? And I'm just hoping for a good Tri-Closure...LOL! Larry David: Cosby....funny....funny. I guess fashion was never really my strong suit. But it's good to be back....Thanks! 🙃
Senior Member Bobman Posted October 31, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 31, 2007 Ok everyone.....heading out this coming Saturday to Canada! Gonna hang out there for a few days before surgery. Just had my 40th birthday and hope to do some celebrating of my own with some good friends. Senior Member TheEmperor Posted October 31, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 31, 2007 Bobman, You have a hall of fame result. I was just looking at your blog trying to detect if there is _anything_ about your HT that is not 100% natural. I noticed that you do not have temple points. Does not look bad at all, but it caught my eye given the amount you have on top, almost looks like a rug because of no temple points. Are you going to address this in #3? Senior Member Bobman Posted November 1, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 1, 2007 TheEmp: Thanks for the compliment and scrutiny. I think that I just may attempt to do some temple work...but I also want to add to the crown too....so we'll see when it's all done what I really decide. Mrjb: Thank you very much JOBI! It's funny you say that because when I was at my cousin's house on my birthday...she mentioned it to some of her female friends and they didn't believe I turned 40.
