  1. I remember reading a study stating that the use of finasteride in a very minute minority of men caused lower sperm motility and motivity. But these seemed to be isolated cases. Any comments on this would be welcome.
  2. Unless, of course, the technician can see the opening through which the hair shaft will grow from the sub-cutaneous hair follicle and then dissect it accordingly, bearing in mind all of this is done under a microscope. Bill, we need your input on these questions.
  3. Bill, What exactly happens when a hair becomes ingrown? Is it that a transplanted graft begins to grow in the "wrong" direction? And why does it go away on its own? Thanks.
  4. Maxxy, This is a very good question, that I had not even thought about!
  5. Like thanotopsis_awry, I too have thick hairs and will have to note this. thanatopsis_awry, How did you deal with the cysts? Did you take medication? Did it naturally go away? Thanks.
  6. 7. I like that...LOL. The important thing is that the scar fades.
  8. Its amazing how the mere mention of Carnival illcits immediate responses, even on a forum such as this
  9. Eman, This was Dr. Lindsey's reply: "scars do fade with time, but don't narrow. they only widen." found here: http://hair-restoration-info.c...&r=13010999#13010999
  10. Thanks for the clarification Latinlotus. No need to shout my name Dude...lol
  11. This is something I had not been warned about prior to surgery.
  12. So I guess that is why Latinlotus used the PGP Plasma stuff on his excision closure. BTW Dr. Lindsey "On the other hand, I bet I have seen 100 guys in the past calender year who had a strip just stapled shut in one layer, and I bet 15 of them had a SUPERB scar, 35 average, and 50 were widended." These stats are horrible. 50% of the men scars widened! Shouldn't scars fade with time? Thanks for your contribution!
  13. Isn't it true that ideally the scar should not stretch?
  14. DUDE ARE YOU NUTS???!!!! If you suspect that you are dealing with a biohazardous chemical, you submit it to a laboratory for testing, and you see a doctor for HAZMAT treatment!
  15. wanthairs. I agree with HK500. How is it that you only had 20% growth. This is very interesting and this community needs details.

  18. No, I haven't as yet. But I have had scars and they DO fade with time! And the intention of surgically engineered scar, is to fade to an almost indistinguishable point. I don't think we should digress too much from the intention of this thread originated by "jazz" which is answerr the "hype" as he puts it of the trichophytic closure.
  19. I disagree. To me, what is important, is how well your scar heals (and fades) with time. Then how short you can cut your hair to hide the ever fading scar.
  20. Emperor, Check with your doctor, and make sure the scar does not stretch. I am unsure as to what width the scar should be initially after surgery, but I don't think it should be that wide....which is almost a quarter-inch!
