  1. Thanks for the comment Bill. I'm just happy I found this forum and didn't go to Bosley lol
  2. Hey guys, I just updated my blog with pics of my result at 2 months post-op. Any comments would be appreciated. Take care.
  3. too bad dr feller doesnt usually go to those from what ive heard. ill be at 11 months then haha.
  4. There is a profile and video interviews with Dr. Feller. Here's a link http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/Doctors.asp?DrID=59
  5. I had my surgery with Dr. Feller in August and couldn't get back to him to have him remove my staples. As thus I had my mother in law remove them, as my wife was to afraid to. They came out easily and I barely felt it. I agree with Dr Lindsey that if possible have the doc remove the staples, but from my experience a family member was just fine. Before and after removal, I did show Dr. Feller my pics on my blog to make sure everything looked good.
  6. Hey man, I'm 22 as well, and just had my HT with Dr. Feller. There's no real age limit for a HT, but generally it's better to do it once loss is stabilized. However, if you have a conservative hair restoration plan and pick a good doctor you should be fine. Consult with a couple doctors not just one and see what they say. Best of luck.
  7. biden and obama are both horrible just like bidens first ht. biden's a smart guy though, i never knew fdr was on tv talking about the great depression in 1929....
  8. Any idea where Bernstein stands on the issue? I know he has offered LLLT but I remember hearing somewhere he no longer uses it (I could be wrong however)
  9. Hmmm maybe we should all consider buying red bulbs for flashlights and shining them on our heads daily......lol LLLT is such a joke. Anyone who somehow believes LLLT works would have to agree that a red flashlight would have the same effect.
  10. If he doesn't add that to his signature I would hope that his recommendation would no longer be considered. Otherwise that undermines the credibility of this forum. If it truly was oversight by Mohmand to include that in a signature that is fine but I don't see how he could have forgot to mention that even once on all the LLLT threads he posted on.
  11. By 2 months grafts are secure. To knock one out thatd have to be a pretty deep wound. I wouldn't worry about it, but if you are that concerned call your doc.
  12. As hairthere M&M and Capt'nMop explained the difference is the disclosure. Just take a look at jotronic, and spex signatures. Also, when promoting the docs they work for, jotronic and Spex often use pictures. There are no credible before and after pictures with LLLT.
  13. Bill, Dr. Feller is 100% right. This cements in my mind that MOHMAND IS UNETHICAL. Having a financial interest in a product means that you can't have an objective view on it. The lasercomb, along with all LLLT treatments are a joke. And how come everyone else that has any relation to a company must disclose in their signature. Bill, you now seem like a hypocrite to me unless you add into his signature that he works with Lexington on the haircrap, oops I mean hairmax comb.
  14. hmmm that seems kind of unethical to me..... http://www.lasercomb.net/CompanyInformation/AdvisoryBoard.aspx
  15. Good post again doc. Hopefully the people that believe this garbage works will wake up and realize theyre wasting their money. LLLT just doesn't work, but people are blinded by their hope for it. Having lost hair myself, I know people would be willing to try anything to get their hair back, and this is just another product to go after the many many hairloss sufferers that want a solution. I really wish LLLT was this solution but it's really just a waste of money, and another marketing ploy to go after the money of the large number of hairloss sufferers.
  16. WOW. Your result looks fantastic. Seeing those pics make me even more anxious to see my growth start! Congrats.
  17. Hard to tell from the pics but your situation doesnt look hopeless by any means. I THINK it looks like you still have decent donor, so I'm assuming your previous 2 procedures were small. Consult with a recommended/coalition doc, and they'll tell you what they can do. Ask if they have pics of a patient with a similar situation. Also, depending on placement of the scars, a good surgeon may be able to eliminate the previous scars if they are in the area where the strip hed remove is located. Best of luck and keep us posted!
  18. Scalp laxity is something that your surgeon should have addressed in his assessment of you at the time of consultation. If there wasn't enough laxity your physician would have informed you and not scheduled your procedure. Basically don't worry about it, just do your scalp exercises before the surgery to increase your laxity for better healing.
  19. Mohmand, You have effectively proven yourself to be a hypocrite. The above is a quote from this thread where you say that in your view LLLT does not grow hair only prevents loss. The below is a quote from another hread you participated in regarding LLLT. Heres a link to the page with it just to verify. http://hair-restoration-info.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/346...861/m/9951006393/p/5 "Recently some studies have proved that LLLT can improve the hair growth and hair count. The centers that have conducted the study are well authenticated centers and Doctors are also well reputed." You obviously dont think those so called "studies" have any merit if you yourself now hav discounted them and said that you believe lasers don't INCREASE the hair count just manintain it. If you truly believe these studies and they are the reason you feel comfortable providing LLLT because of them, why would you then make a stance directly against them saying that they don't regrow hair and only prevent further loss? Essentially you are either a hypocrite or a liar. I'd say both of those characteristics are something I would not want in a doctor. Rely on proven results NOT LLLT. As a sufferer of hairloss I wish LLLT worked, but it just does not.
  20. Bill, You are wrong. Dr. Feller's video, and the laws of physics prove that lasers cant benefit the follicle more so than any other plain old monochromatic red light. It is impossible for the LASER light in the combs to reach the follicle. LLLT is therefore exactly the same as taking a red lightbulb and shining that on your head. Since laserlight is broken up instantly when it hits the scalp, when lasercomb proponents say that laser treatments work, they are essentially saying that monochromatic red light, NOT laser light will regrow hair. If LLLT proponents are to say that their treatments work, they must then say that shining a flashlight with a red bulb on your head would have the same effect. Otherwise they are hypocritical, and I would agree with Dr. Feller that any doctor who charges for LLLT is unethical.
  21. Dr. Feller, Thanks for taking the time to produce this video, and post it on here. Everything youve said makes perfect sense to me. It just seems ridiculous to me for a company say that lasers can regrow hair without having anything to back it up.
  22. I just went back to look at your immediate post op pics - looks like some nice coverage with the 4500. Also with the native hair you do have that'll be a nice supplement. For now maybe just keep looking at the final results people have posted and realize in a matter of months that'll be you!
