  1. This gentleman was in his mid-50’s and had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 5v on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to get as much coverage as possible. With his degree of hair loss, I let him know it would take 2 procedures. Taking his age and degree of hair loss into consideration, we discussed his options and developed a surgical plan that would work well with his expectations. I paid careful attention to his hairline as I wanted to reconstruct a hairline that would be suitable for him as he continued to age and allow me to still give him some coverage in the crown. I used a significant amount of single hair follicular units which allowed me to create a very natural hairline. This action will allow him to comb his hair without anyone detecting that he has had anything done. The patient has had 2 FUE procedures and for a total of 5,076 grafts. These are his results, 10 months, post-op after second procedure. He is very happy with his results.
  2. This 36-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 4v on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to rebuild his hairline, add density to the frontal 1/3-1/2 of his scalp and also add a little density into his crown. As we discussed the patient’s goals, I emphasized that I would only be able to do some work in the crown in order to properly manage his expectations. He understood and we prioritized his goals. I created a surgical plan that carefully accounted for his age and the progression of his hair loss, paying close attention to creating a hairline that would be suitable for him as he continued to age, looked natural but also added some density to his crown. A total of 2,500 grafts were used in the frontal 1/3-1/2 and 300 grafts were placed into the crown. These are his results 1 year post-op. The patient is extremely happy with his results and is presently on Finasteride 1mg and Rogaine to try and stop further hair loss.
  3. champybaby, We can agree that Dr. Konior is always worth the wait and the price! I see you’ve had three procedures with Dr. Konior so I can understand your exuberant comments but I kindly note that you don’t have to step on others to highlight Dr. Konior’s amazing skills which have given rise to his patient’s fantastic results. Good results deserve recognition. Poor results demand accountability. That is why we are all on this forum. When you said, “TBH, I don't think I've seen a single good Panine result. At least not one I'd be happy with.” I absolutely welcome your criticism but the second part of your comment demeans the views of my patients on this forum that have posted their own results and are happy with their results. These are patients that I’ve seen transformed with confidence that gives them a new life. Just like you are very protective of Dr. Konior….I’m very protective of my patients. I’ve read through your profile to try to bring some context to your statement and we agree on more than we would disagree about. You seem very knowledgeable about how personal a hair transplant is and how it may just be one of the biggest decisions of your life. Earlier this week you said on the forum, “If the person feels good about how they look, then that's all that matters, right?”. I have to believe you didn’t intend to dismiss the feelings of the very people who have had the courage to share their experiences and were excited with their results. It is for my patients who have shared their experiences on this forum that I bring it to your attention. Again, I’m sure you didn’t intend it to be taken that way by those who, just like you, are very happy with their results. I’ve taken the time to pull a few of them and posted the links below. 4. This 27-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 4v on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/2 of his scalp and add density to the crown. I let him know it would take 2 procedures to achieve those results. We discussed the patient’s goals and since they were well suited to his needs, I planned the surgery accordingly. We agreed that the hairline construction needed to be suitable for him as he continues to age, so I paid particular attention to ensuring this happened. A total of 2,736 grafts were used to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/2 of his head. I used a significant amount of single hair follicular units which allowed me to create a very natural hairline. This action will allow him to comb his hair without anyone detecting that he has had anything done. The patient came back for a second procedure one year later and he received 2,000 grafts to add density to the back ½ of his head. These are his results 1-year after his second procedure. He is extremely happy with his results.
  5. JohnAC71, The patient will have approximately 2,000 more grafts put into the crown and vertex to give him good density. JohnAC71, Dr. Suhail Khokhar, and Melvin-Moderator, Thank you for the kind words! I truly appreciate the feedback.
  6. This 50-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 3v on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to rebuild a conservative hairline, add density to the frontal 1/3 of his scalp and shrink the bald spot in the crown area. As I discussed his options with him, we agreed to reconstruct a hairline that would be suitable for him as he continued to age. Since the patient’s goal was well suited to his needs, I planned the surgery accordingly. A total of 2,186 grafts were used in the hairline and frontal 1/3 of his head and 400 grafts were used into the vertex area to help shrink the bald spot in the back area. I used a significant amount of single hair follicular units which allowed me to create a very natural hairline. This action will allow him to comb his hair without anyone detecting that he has had anything done. These are his results at 1-week post-op and 9 months post-op. The patient is extremely happy and has schedule a second procedure to have his crown filled in. I will update his crown results down the road.
  7. JohnAC71, Melvin-Moderator, Dr. Suhail Khokhar, deitel130 & follically challenged, Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate you taking the time to provide me with feedback.
  8. This 45-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 4v on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/2 of his scalp. After establishing his medical history and understanding the progression of his hair loss, I diagnosed his condition as Androgenetic Alopecia (male pattern baldness), ruling out any other possible dermatological or medical conditions which can cause hair loss. The patient’s goal was well suited to his needs and therefore I planned the surgery accordingly. I wanted to reconstruct a hairline that would be suitable for him as he continued to age. A total of 2,663 grafts were used. I used a significant amount of single hair follicular units which allowed me to create a very natural hairline. This action will allow him to comb his hair without anyone detecting that he has had anything done. These are his results 1-year post-op. Patient is extremely happy and has scheduled a second procedure to have his crown filled in. [video]

  12. This 32-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 4v on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale with very fine hair. After establishing his medical history and understanding the progression of his hair loss, I diagnosed his condition as Androgenetic Alopecia (male pattern baldness), ruling out any other possible dermatological or medical conditions which can cause hair loss. His goal was to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/3-1/2 of his scalp and wanted to fill in the crown. Taking his age and hair loss into consideration we came upon an agreement for what would suite his expectations. We agreed on a hairline that would be suitable for him as he continued to age. A total of 2,500 grafts were used with a FUE procedure. I used a significant amount of single hair follicular units which allowed me to create a very natural hairline. 15. This 50-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 5 on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. He had a previous strip (FUT) hair restoration procedure by another clinic about 8 years ago. His goal was to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/2 of his scalp. Taking his age and hair loss into consideration we discussed what he wanted to see done and together we constructed a surgical plan that would suite his expectations. I needed to create a natural hairline that would be suitable for him as he continued to age. Therefore, I used a significant amount of single hair follicular units along the hairline. This action will allow him to comb his hair without anyone detecting that he has had anything done as it looks very natural. A total of 2,885 grafts were used in this patient’s FUE hair surgery. These are his results 7 months post-op. His results will continue to improve over the next 5-8 months. The patient is extremely happy with his results and is on Finasteride to try and control further hair loss. YouTube Video
  16. HTHope & Curious25, That’s a good question! Harvesting is done in the “safe zone”, which is determined on a case by case basis. Each patient’s density pattern can be different. This patient’s safe zone varied from what you’d see in a textbook. It’s very important that the physician looks carefully, with high magnification, to determine where grafts can be safely extracted. Myself, I use the Carl Zeiss 8x loops to examine the scalp, hair density and the patterns established by current and predicted future hair loss. If a physician doesn’t adjust the extraction area to accommodate the patient’s individual patterns you can end up doing harm to the patient and the patient’s results will suffer. Mycroft JohnAC71 Nounours & Melvin-Moderator Thank you for the kind words! I truly appreciate it. Finally, I apologize for the late response. We have continued to be very busy with surgery, despite the pandemic. That said, I wanted to take the time to reply just as soon as I had a moment. Thank you all again for the great questions and comments!

Taking his age and hair loss into consideration we came upon an agreement for what would suite his expectations.
