  1. Looks good .My transplanted hair from my first session had the same texture and it took a little over a year to smooth out .
  2. That doctor needs to be shot. Id be willing to send a couple hundred dollars to the doctor who helps
  3. Theres no doubt about it ,Hes a good surgeon, that does alot of "other" cosmetic procedures Dr Shapiro, H&W ,Alexander and Feller, all said I need 2000 grafts to meet my expectations. When I went to Konior, he saw me 2 minutes, said he could around 1000 grafts unless I wanted a new scar, and that he would only be able to reduce the scar in half. Well Dr Shapiro removed the whole scar and got 1950 grafts. I just feel that if I would have stayed in Illinois, I would be kicking myself in the butt again, even if all 1000 grafts grew
  4. Wow 1900 singles . Looks very clean and dense . Good growing to you
  5. If it HAS to be in Illinois ,then he should be your only choice. Most places pay for your travel .I made the big mistake of staying in Illinois If your able to drive a little at least check out Dr Ron Shapiro in Minnesota
  6. Thanks for your response ,and thanks for participating here. I think its fantastic
  7. Looks good .Im sure he will be happy. Ive been impressed by the closure pictures .Is there an advantage using sutures over staples? Do you have any pictures of the donor scar 6-12 months later?
  8. I looked at alot of before and afters ,and the one thing I noticed is that the guys that had a nice amount early growth [3 months] seemed to have the most stunning results. Any of you guys believe there is something to this?

  10. Why dont you just have the scar replaced with a new one?
  11. You have come to the right place for your concerns . The people here are great, and wont bs you. I also went to Shapiro after being butchered from Nuhart, and my expierence with Nuhart was probaly one of those horror stories you read about. After alot of research the reason I chose Dr Shapiro is because of the tons of positive stories Ive read over the years and the consistent results You were and are in good hands so just give it time.
  12. OK , WHERE ARE THE HIDDEN CAMERAS, THE JOKE IS OVER.
  13. Bill, After reading his posts ,I wouldnt be suprised if he was wearing spandex in that pic, sweating to Richard
  14. Scarred 4 life ,You sure thats a transplant scar, or did someone crack you in your head?
  15. I think it helps, but if you dont want to spend that kind of money,a good emu oil works wonders. Aloe is also good .
  16. What usually starts to grow first ,donor shockloss,or transplants?

  18. I saw alot of Dr Alexanders hairline photos. They were all dense and very natural. He does the trico and uses sutures. Dr feller taught him alot. Though I didnt choose him I came away extremely impressed. Ive also never heard any bad things about Dr Keene, and when I mentioned her name at the place I had my procedure ,they had great things to say about her. You cant go wrong with either. For ultimate hairline work I would just fly to Minnesota and get SHAPIROIZED
  19. Carter, Glad you didnt go with Bosley. I went to Dr Konior for a consult. Hes a nice guy that does good work with alot of pics. He also does alot of other cosmetic surgeries, which for myself kind of steered me away. He told me he could reduce my scar by 50% and get around 1000 grafts for $5000. In the end I drove to Minnesota from Illinois and had Dr Shapiro perform the surgery He got 1,900 removed 15 minigrafts and removed the entire scar for less money per graft. So if you want my opinion go to Dr Shapiro or at least give them a call.
  20. Dr Alexander was my second choice. I love his hairline work. At the time he wasnt showing any pictures of patients scars ,but since then Ive seen quite a few and they look great .Nikki was also very helpful. Youll be in good hands .
