Yes apply it to an open wound. I got a pimple near the front that became problematic as I kept knocking it when combing my hair and think it got infected a bit as it started leaking a yellow fluid so after researching I read that you can apply the oil to open wounds and area around as it is an antiseptic and is extremely efficient at killing bacteria that cause skin infections. After 3 days the boil started going hard as infection healed and a normal scab is in place and skin around it that was red started healing too. Not all pimples will get problematic but try and keep the area clean and avoid touching with your fingers which is hard if its near the hairline. Tea tree oil can be bought in health stores and some even label it as an antiseptic.

I had better success applying tea tree oil than alcohol..seems to have a stronger antiseptic/healing affect. use a hot flannel first for 30 mins.

Wayne Rooney just got his second HT in the U.K a few days ago so it will be interesting to see how that one develops but my point being it helps make the idea of HT'S more acceptable when high profile people have them and make it public knowledge and even have their pictures on the clinic website such as he has. I used .5 ed for 6 months then did some research and figured you didnt need it ed so take .5 eod for 1.5 years now and havent lost anything. I think ed is overkill so give it a go.

It will be down to your DNA how fast or slow your telemeres shorten and 55 % of the population have the peter pan gene to differing degrees which means the telemeres shorten at a slower pace than the other 45 % who look their age or older,they think lifestyle,environment palys a smaller factor. Doubt it is the Fin you have prob got good genes. Well I can confirm it works in much smaller doses than the fda recommend,I used .5 mg EOD for 2 years and saw slight improvement,then tried every day for 8 months but saw no further improvement than before just more sides so am back on .5 EOD which is lowering my dht to the level required for me atleast,people with more agressive genes may require a bit more,not an exact science.

Johnboy,T you need to do plenty more research as lots do fue but a few do it with a good result to put it plainly,and its a well known fact there currently no doctors in the u.k that has a good rep for good results in FUE . There is a u.k forum if you search some more on google . You need to travel for fue and europes best fue docs are in Belgium which you will find out by making some straight forward searches. Dont get it done in the U.K is my advice. By going to the wrong place you could get scarring,damaged donor,poor/no growth,unnatural hair pattern.

Think it is part of normal MPB but not 100 % and I would imagine if you have loss is in the vertex you could be susceptible to it than someone without vertex loss.Its the same with temple point thinning,someone with high NW could have better temple points than someone with a lower NW.Its all in the genes I think.

I went to see Dr Feriduni today in Belgium for a consult that lasted 1 and half hours even though I am not planning on doing anything for a while yet.I found him friendly,honest,ethical and he answered all my questions which were many.I saw another patients fue results and donor area who was there for a review and was impressed.

definite slight improvement especially the thin area to thick hair transition zones infront if crown where it works the best anyway and the hair changed from almost invisible straw like to dark and thicker after 6 months. I mean the oldest loss area in middle bridge area has not improved as much as further back but still slightly better. Will try this current dose to see if it helps more but if it stays as it is i will be happy as I have full coverage just little thin on mid scalp.

I initially used .5 mg eod for 2 years and it worked fine as I had sides on any larger dose.I am now trying .5 mg every day (4 weeks now) and can manage it without the sides I got 2 years ago although get the slight ache now and then so I think the body does adjust over time.Was thinking of trying 1mg eod but not sure may stay with what I am on as it is working quite well.Its worth experimenting.

Spex is there an inintial consultation fee with them and how long have you been using Finpecia ?. The only cosmetic procedure I can think of that would cost so much money and require many months of downtime and considerable pain is leg lengthening which they do in Russia as I saw a programme about it.Looks painful to say the least !.

Do you have any pictures samsung ? what is the 3G (3rd generation) Fue procedure all about that his website mentions and that he says can achieve better and more natural looking results than traditional methods of FUE?? this sounds very interesting. The before/after photos dont look very convincing to be honest.
