  1. The conclusion is LLLT DOSENT WORK FOR ANYONE because their is no photo proof it does work after 40 or so years that I or anyone else here can find, you are grasping at straws in your argument now.Your statement doesnt address how the laser gets through to the follicle which is the crucial point in the argument.Who cares what it looks like when it hits a surface if it cant get through to the follicle, this is the important aspect in the debate.Lasers used for other medical conditions are different to LLLT,they use high heat which would destroy a hair follicle so they are 2 different topics. Its easy for anyone to pick holes in any argument but bottom line is LLLT has been around long enough to show it doesnt work for growing hair so you sniping here in the name of science doesnt change any intelligent persons opinion regardless of what you may think.
  2. When and if this product has FDA approval for regrowing hair maybe some people here might try it,otherwise sounds like all the other hocus pocus products out there,a con.Thicker hair overnight eh!!!!.No shampoos can reach the hair follicle as it is deeply embedded in the skin so that theory isnt correct, and all the hair follicle needs to get its nutrition is BLOOD.95 % of male hairloss is genetic and caused by DHT choking the follicle and as topicals cant get to the follicle this product would be useless for anyone on this site.ROGAINE is the only topical which can work and that is only minimally and used with other products normally.
  3. You can if you FUE but I think it is too low to take a strip for physiological reasons that a doctor can explain better than me.I guess if you have hairloss in the back also it may miniturize later.Maybe a doc can give a further opinion on this!.
  4. Good choice ANTWIS79,shouldIdoit I think you have not understood what I meant fully,by hair-mills I mean like Bosley and MHR and another Greek FUE clinic where you turn up on the day and there are 5 surgeries going on and it is pot luck which doctor you get, good or bad do you think ?????. I know from first hand experience. Its not worth the risk as you are likely to get an o.k result at best or maybe be very lucky and get a great result and be butchered at worst. Most well informed HT veterans with poor results from these clinics will probably agree with me on this. I dont know why you bought H & W in to this topic as they are a classy operation of 2 doctors (hardly a chain clinic !!!!!!!!!!!!) and you know who is doing your surgery on the day. Hope my standpoint is better understood now. I lot of what people say on here is subjective and it is for people to take that information presented and make up their own minds.
  5. How many clinics did you consult with ?,I have only heard bad things about these people and its best to avoid hair mills that perform many surgeries each day.You get put on a conveyor belt and pay for it too.HT is a very hard surgery to perform successfully and many perform it to poor standards and it is very unregulated. You may have saved your head by coming here as its obvious you havent done much research. These chain clinics rely on us not doing any research before and being taken in by the flash websites and smooth sales pitches. you should go see Dr Feller for a consult as like Dewayne said he is one of the best out there and has many results posted here for all to see.
  6. Remember there isnt any real choice for FUE in Canada is there (I dont rate Armani) ,not everyone wants a strip taken out of their head. You have more choice in Belgium for a first class FUE than in Canada at present. Their is no point travelling halfway round the world when you can get just as good a result in Europe is there. Also the pound is at a 6 year low gainst the U.S dollar so a procedure now is alot more expensive than 6 months ago!!!. This all counts. I prefer to jump on the train and be in europe in 2 hours feeling relaxed.
  7. andone, as you say money is tight it might be worth waiting until the pound gets stronger as even against the euro it is well down and you will pay alot more.Dont rush in and leave yourself skint, timing is important. My choice of surgeon in europe for fue would be Bisanga as I have have seen many excellent results from his clinic posted on hlh.He will be on my list for my next procedure along with Feriduni. If the pound gets strong in future Feller would be my choice in states for sure.
  8. They "DONT DO FUE" ,just checked their website!!.
  9. Yes, stay away from NORTON. If you want a successful fue procedure you must travel out of U.K,Farjo i dont think do FUE.The best doctors are in Belgium for fue if you dont want to travel across the pond. The U.K is not the place to get a HT by the way,it is 10 years behind!!!. You should research for a long time before choosing where to go as the results you get will vary greatly depending on who does it.
  10. I read on another forum where a guy asked a top clinic if he could replace his miniturized hair for transplanted hair, effectively killing the dying weak hairs with the newly implanted hair over it,not just inbetween it .The clinic said they do this if their is severe miniturization present and is appropriate to obtain a good density and result to avoid coming back lots of further times when that hair dies.I think it makes sense because the thinning hair doesnt offer any density really and its only a matter of time before it goes for good. They showed an example of a case and his result was amazing with this technique.
  11. Its just FUE with a gimmicky name to get your attention, there is no scarless HT as you are having many holes made in your head although to the naked eye they wont be noticed when your hair grows. This company arent offering anything new and their patient examples are not impressive, too few grafts being used which is a common trick so they can draw you back again and again for a touch up!!!!!.Avoid eastern Europe even if it is dirt cheap. Its o.k to get your dental cosmetic/work done their as they have good cheap dentists but not HT.
  12. I have heard mixed reports about Kiely. You should go to North America or Belgium for the best HT doctors and to get the best result froyourself,Ireland simply doesnt have any god HT doctors!!!.
  13. Its like the 'LLLT MAFIA' over there trying to protect their business, complete joke actually. dont believe a word any of them say!!.
  14. Varsity, I had the same thing as you, alot of my transplanted grafts just kept on growing normally so i didnt shed too many. The ones that shed will grow later usually in 5-10 months.Hopefully you are one of the lucky ones that doesnt shed all hairs and so you have an idea of the end result!!.It is rare though.Remember they can sometimes shed upto 4 weeks later.
  15. Meek, the first area to thin is usually the temples and hairline ends up in the v shape. The hairs miniturize first so you still have the hair there but it is thinner than the centre of hairline and looks thinner. This is how mine started and it progressed over 8/9 years slowly till I took action with a HT.no Shampoo is going to stop this as it is genetic so you should consider propecia and rogaine and see if you can tolerate them without side effects if you want to give yourself a chance. You can also try Nizoral but wont stop your loss on its own.
  16. Shock loss of healthy hair (not miniturizied) usually always grows back normally unless the follicle was effected by DHT when it might be killed off prematurely by the shock. Not all doctors require you to shave your head.
  17. A good surgeon can minimize shockloss and it is said shaving does make it easier for them to see the angle the existing hairs are growing from and thus match it with transplanted follicles meaning less transection of pre existing hairs.
  18. Make sure you get a few evaluations and choose wisely and research as well.I dont know which doctor you went for this recemmendation but 1300 in front sounds very short to me and 400 on top is no where near enough.Be careful about clinics that purposely give you fewer grafts than you need so you keep coming back for top ups, very dodgy!.I would get another opinion as its better to get it done in one hit!! I would say you need over 3000,
  19. It is magical the way they get those grafts out without touching you!!!.I had this procedure done and it sure felt like someone was touching me when the aneasthetic wore off half way through!! ouch!!.exactly the same as FUE execpt the gimmicky name.
  20. looked promising when they regrew hair follicles in the mice, anyone heard anymore on this or if they intend to test on humans?.Guess its still top secret. wonder which will come first,HM or hair neogenesis!.Maybe in 10/20 years these treatments will be the real deal and not just rumour.
  21. The hair you shed is most likely shock loss that can occur in the first 2/3 months after HT but the good news is it grows back but takes maybe 3/6 months.I had the same thing and it grew back in time as the follicles are still healthy. If the hair that shed was weak and miniturized then it maybe wont grow as well.SPEX had a bad case of this that is posted on here or another forum and he had a large bald area on the side of his head size of an apple but it grew back comlpetely. It usually happens when a blood vessel is damaged and has to repair itself. So just bide your time and it will improve. If you get another HT in future dont use anyone in Ireland or U.K,its not our strong point!!.simply Gotta travel!!.I will for my next one.
  22. Doctor M, are The 80% of patients who are having success with the laser using rogaine or propecia as well?, because I know some companies that overcharge clients give you rogaine to use along with the laser so any improvement can be put down to the combination of the two,and infact the only proven product for hairloss you are paying for is Rogaine and a very expensive electricity bill (laser). Also there is plenty of evidence that propecia works well on its own and you dont have to use it with anything else to get a significant improvement. This cant be said of the laser as there are no studies or photos that prove this, so it is usually used in conjunction with other meds and therefore it is easier to claim it is working and for clinics to keep pushing onto the unsuspecting patient. Can you tell us how you think the laser affects the hair and scalp in a positive way in your patients ?.I think the laser is the biggest scam out there personally and so do 98% of people here so far. Majority rule in my book!.
  23. If you stop taking meds your hairloss could be alot worse and speed up.As you are young there is a chance you will have/develop aggressive hairloss and meds cant always stop it from progressing eventually but can slow it.I would stick with your regime and in a few years see where you r at and maybe get a HT if things stabilize more.
  24. Theses photos dont look very good to be honest .Why hasnt this guy posted any updated photos?. If you cant see pictures of fully grown results be wary. You should do much more research because there are lots of docs with proven results around compared with this guy.Dont let travel be a factor.
