You are looking at fantastic hair quality. The picture is not darkened or far away if you look at his blue shirt it is obvious. This lucky gentleman has great hair quality characteristics. By moving the donor hair and keeping intermittent shaft thickness hair this patient had a "win-win" transplant.

27 year old patient, who despite medical treatment, continued to have constant thinning due to his hereditary diffuse class 5 thinning pattern. 2,725 follicular units were placed in between his existing hairs (follicular units: single hairs-415, double hairs-552 & multi-hairs-1,758). Excellent results were obtained with overall thickening. Photos shown are pre-op and after one year post-op. Comments are welcome.

Thank you for your comments. Hairweare-I believe you are looking for the graft count. . Single hair grafts were 352, double hair grafts 624 and multi-hair grafts were 2,031. Yes, of course this gentleman is donor blessed. That is why I recommend that anyone wishing to have hair restoration meet with their physician for a consultation, so that expectations are in line.

Beautiful 33 year old women with Temporal Triangular Alopecia who wished to comb her hair back instead of trying to hide her hair loss. The patient received 2,255 follicular units. Photos show are pre-op and 22 months post-op. She is very happy with her results.

Thank you for viewing my post and for all the wonderful comments. Kootrapeli- The patient continues to be on medical treatment. Busa- The patient is very excited about his transformation. There is however no comb over. His restoration was created to follow his natural part. The "alleys" were created with equal density. If he were a Class 7 pattern then a "J" pattern would be appropriate. I am looking forward to his 12 month visit when his hair will be thicker and his results will be even more evident.

46 year old who had 6,387 follicular units transplanted. FUT and FUE procedures were utilized to restore his hair loss with the benefit of taking all transplanted hair from the "safe zone". The first two procedures were taken from the mid donor "safe zone" leaving the rest of the donor area with its' normal density. 5377 FUT grafts were obtained with the 1st two procedures. The patient desired more frontal density, so 1,010 FUE units were harvested using a manual & motorized Safe System 1.0 & 0.8 mm. punches. It is important that patients understand the proper expectations of their hair loss over the years, so an in depth consultation with their hair transplant surgeon is needed to make wise choices. Patients are not always happy with one procedure, but if there is proper planning of their hair loss, based on familiar patterns..., they can make the appropriate hair restoration decisions. I will post follow-up photos at 6 &12 months post-op. Photos shown are pre-op before the 1st procedure, post-op after the 2nd procedure and immediate photos after the FUE procedure. FUE grafts in place 7 days post-op, including the donor region are shown.

52 year old who wished to enhance his profile and create a dynamic framework. Hair restoration was performed on the anterior 1/3 of his scalp with augmentation of the temporal parietal angles for a rejuvenated side presentation. The patient also had crown enhancement. Photos shown are pre-op, grafts in place to demonstrate side creation technique and crown grafts in place. The patient is now 6 months post-op and I will update at 1 year 3,350 follicular units were utilized.

30 year old who wished to accent his anterior hairline and frontal framework. The patient had early results at 4 1/2 months post-op. utilizing 2,850 grafts. We will update photos at one year post-op.

Thank you David & Blake for your positive comments. BUSA the answer to your question is that this was a FUT procedure. I do perform FUE and FUT procedures in my practice. It was the patient's choice to have the FUT procedure. (He wished to not shave his hair due to his employment). I will post his 12 month results along with a photo of his donor scar. Dr. Keller

37 year old who wanted to have a more dynamic presence in his occupation. There is a family hair loss history of class 4V to class 7. Patient wished to build up his frontal tuft and temporal parietal angles, thicken his mid-scalp and shrink his crown. The patient is shown here at 7 months post-op and is extremely happy with his results. Propecia and Rogaine 5% are used for hair stabilization. I will post his 12 month results.

47 year old patient with class 3 hair loss and temporal parietal recession who was looking to have hair restoration to create an image of his more "youthful self" again. Pt. was seeking a more dynamic image, much like he had in his late 30's. The patient had an excellent plan for his future hairstyle and had his hairline created in agreement with the approximate number of grafts. Photos shown are pre-op.,1 year post-op. and a 2- layer trichophytic closure. 2,125 grafts were used in an anterior feathered array with the appropriate density progression posterior to the hairline.

62 year old male came to see me after having 3 plug and one of the earlier micro-mini graft surgeries from other clinics. Photos shown are pre-op and one year post-op. Only 1,512 ultra- refined follicular unit grafts were available to repair and optimize cosmetic density.

Cant decide, Thank you for your comments. I try to have my patients focused on keeping appropriate expectations for their future hair loss and plan accordingly. This patient was able to keep a balanced perspective on a reasonable number of grafts which would produce a dynamic image change.
