46 year old who has a class 5/6 hair loss pattern, 19 months post-op. The patient has had 2 surgeries. Limited pictures are available. Refined hairline technique used to develop a natural hairline. Total grafts utilized are as follows: approximately 5300 grafts (~14,500 hairs)-500 single hair grafts, 500 double hair grafts, and 4,300 multiple hair grafts.

Dr. Cam Simmons to answer your question- by lessening the tension on the trichophytic closure an optimal healing environment is created. The inner layer is brought together by using interrupted suture placement and staples are used on the outer layer to lessen lateral shifting. Staples are usually removed ten days post-op. 27 year old with 5V pattern who wore a hair system for years. On Propecia. 3070 grafts were utilized-425 single grafts, 575 double grafts and 2070 two & three hair grafts were used. Photos are 11 months post-op.

37 year old, class 5V- 8 month post-op patient who had approximately 3350 grafts in one session. Photos taken demonstrate approximately 2/3 hair shaft thickness and one year photos will be posted. 348 single hair grafts, 352 double hair grafts were utilized for feathering front hairline. Approximately 2650 three and four hair hair grafts were used for crown and the rest of the scalp.

54 year old female patient who returned for her 12 month follow-up. The patient has a Ludwig 2/3 pattern of hair thinning. She was concerned about anterior density and wished to restore her facial framework. 1652 grafts were utilized-250 single hair grafts were used to define the front hairline and stengthen the widow's peak. 200 double hair grafts were used to feather the front hairline. 1152 three/four hair grafts were utilized to add density, with a total of approx. 5000 hairs. The patient was evaluated one year post-op and still has not attained full hair shaft thickness and is likely to have more hair growth and thickness in the next two months.

6 Month post-op patient with 3V (plus) pattern who is stabilized on propecia. 2252 grafts were utilized. The facial framework was created with 420 single hair grafts. 388 double hair grafts and 1494 three/four hair grafts were used. Approx. 6000 hairs total.
