50-years-old, Thai, male who has receding hairline, deep temples and small area of diffused thinning hair at the crown. He wanted to restore the front and the crown. His donor hair looked good. He underwent a combination of FUT and FUE, a total of 3,093 grafts (1 hair graft = 503 grafts, 1 long and 1 short hair graft = 692 grafts, 2 hairs graft = 1,490 grafts, 3 hairs graft = 252 grafts; total number of hairs = 5,087 hairs), were transplanted to the front 2272 grafts and the crown 821 grafts. FUT yielded 1661 grafts and FUE yielded 1432 grafts. Below are his pre op and seven months post op photos. He is very happy with the result. The top view photo, we were unable to comb the hair backward since the hair is too short, wavy and coarse hair.

63-years-old, Thai, male who has diffused thinning hair at the front towards the crown with evident hair grafts at the front. He underwent the first hair transplantation with 1,086 grafts placing at the front in 2001. He uses medication for hair loss on and off over 20 years. His donor hair looked average and his scalp skin is hard and thick. His donor hair density is 64 FU/cm2. He preferred FUT, however there was not enough grafts and we had to go ahead with FUE to get another 283 grafts. He underwent a combination of FUT and FUE (1,541 grafts from FUT and 283 grafts from FUE) a total of 1,824 grafts (1 hair graft = 564 grafts, 1 long and 1 short hair graft = 114 grafts, 2 hairs graft = 950 grafts, 3 hairs graft = 196grafts; total number of hairs = 3,759 hairs). Below are his pre op and one year three months post op photos. He is very happy with the result and continues with 5 mg oral Minoxidil only.inoxidil only.

His hair is black, coarse, and straight. The density of his donor hair is average at 64-72 fu/cm2. He underwent FUE 2,290 grafts (1 hair = 287 grafts, 1 long and 1 short hair = 178 grafts, 2 hairs = 1,377 grafts and 3 hairs = 448 grafts; the total number of hair is 4,563).
