  1. This is definately one of the more interesting subjects Ive read in this forum. I would like to know as well WHY you guys that have has HT's regret it. (Besides the money issue) Also, it would be interesting to compare what FUE patients as opposed to Strip patients feel about this. And more importanly, what are peoples reactions to your HT's? Has anyone has a really bad or good experience with people pointing it out? El Guapo
  2. You are like that geek in class who would always raise his hand just to point out that the teacher had misspelled someting on the blackboard. lacking normal intelligence the kid would never realise that the spelling is unimportant and correting spelling mistakes would not make him look smarter. On the contrary it makes you look like you are dumb and that maybe your parents never paid you any attention. Dr Charles can touch my head anytime I just wont have him teach grammar. El Grande Gordo
  3. Ok lets do this. I believe that first you should make Dr White aware of the situation regarding the website and give him another chance to do what is right. The website will not brake any laws as we will buy space in some Asian country that has no laws regarding these issues. It is important however that he is given another chance to pay for you reconstructive surgery or simply give you your money back. Ther is one more thing I would consider if i were you as well. YOu have an extremely good case for a lawsuit and you would not loose that would be close to impossible. NHI is in breach of so many laws and regulations regarding duty of care etc that i am surprised that he has not paid you to keep it quite. Let us know what happens and give me your emial El Guapo
  4. Mr White There is no point in you posting photos of parable that make his transplant look better. It would in fact make you look like a bit of a scam artist. The reason for this is that the photos that Parable showed us are very detailed and they do not lie, If you have photos of exactly the same head in a different lighting etc that makes the result look better that only shows that you know how to make a very poor result look good. That is no way to gain trust, quite the opposite in fact. You did have a happy patient , Abe, who posted here just before me and the fact that he is happy shows that Dr White actually can produce decent results. If that is the fact, why will you not admit to the fact that you have Failed parable and give him his money back. His transplant is by no standards whatsoever even remotely acceptable. Dr White even failed to plant all the hairs in the right direction, the scar is enormous and there is poor growth and ridging. I dont see how you could have made it worse actually. Parable I have a proposition for you: If NHI does not pay you for your repair work I will build you a website and post your story and the pictures of the results on this site. I will do this for free as I believe that it is your right and your obligation to inform other potential patients of NHI what they can expect. I will code it in such a way that everytime you write Barry White or NHI in any search engine your website will come up first. El Guapo
  5. Akonsta As tis photo shows, 2000 grafts is not enough to cover an area that big. It is a good start however. I am personally interested in the quality and naturalness of the hairline. -Do you have any hairline photos? -Also, How dense is DHi able to pack when doing FUE? Is a hairline of say 60-70 grafts/Sq Cm possible with this technique? -Also, how would a DHI FUE look if a patient was to buzzcut his head? (Donor and receipent) Im just asking because i have never seen an FUE result up close and I am considering getting one myself. Thanks El Muy Guapo
  6. Joe you are right. its not about the hairstyle. Im just jealous.
  7. Not bad guys. Especially after 5 months. What a waste though - all that new hair and still that shockingly ugly hairdo.
  8. Active: - I believe that there will not be any nervdamage as a result from an FUE transplant as you are not removing a part of you scalp. It is much less invasive. I could be wrong but i do not think so. dtrojanz: -Why would I want to shave my head after a strip? I'll give you a few reasons. 1) Lets say my hairloss progeresses even faster after a HT and I just dont want to spend the money or go into surgery again. With strip surgery I am stuck. Strip is a lifelong commitment. Many patients, young ones especially, get scuked into a lifelong dependance on more surgery as their hairloss progresses. 2) I think that a almost shaved head or a "buzzcut" looks really good on some people with the right head shape. I dont think I have ever seen anyone look good in a buzzcut if he has no hairline. (unless he is black) The shadow of the hairline frames the face. Even more so when the hair is really really short. At this lenght a strip would not be very atractive. FUE is the future boys. The outragous prices must first go down however and it will as more and more surgeons are learning this technique. Doctors will keep on doing strip as long as there are patients that will have it beacause this is what the doctor is used to and feels comfortable with. This will change as FUE becomes more available and patients demand it. Besides the price there is no reason whatsoever for someone to do strip unless he is a NW6 or more. The argument that strip is timetested etc is outragous I think. What difference would it make how the grafts are harvested as long as they are placed into the scalp within the same timeframe and are not damaged? And FU strips are not that timetested to be honest. They have not even been available for that many years. My 2 cents El Guapo
  9. what i meant was how much did it cost? please keep us updated. I am following this with great interest. You see, there is no way in hell i would ever get a strip -that is an ancient technique that is by now outdated - as I want to be able to wear my hair very short. How does your donor area look now? thanks man El Guapo
  10. Please keep us updated on a weekly basis. I believe that many of us considering HT are waiting to see some great results from FUE as strip is a bit outdated by now. I myself will have a HT but only FUE/FIT. How much was this procedure? EL Guapo
  11. YO Im from Sydney too and I am very interested in learning more about Dr Knudsen. Please let me know how it goes. Before and ater pics? El Guapo
  12. What would be the purpose of posting the photos? We all know that any transplant can look Ok with the right lightning. As a prospective HT patient I myself am not interested your best angle best light photos. There is no way you can dispute the authenticity of Parables photos or say that just because your photos of the same HT looks better that it is an OK HT. The damage is already done. We know what to expect when going to NHI which is why you were removed from this site. The fact that you are still arguing and not reimbursing Parable is somewhat strange. it is obvious that NHI made a mistake and/or an inferior job with Parable and he is scarred for life due to your negligence. If you had any decency you will pay him what you owe him and you will do it quickly. You are in deep shit and in case of a lawsuit you will loose no question about it. But come to think about it parable should let you post the photos anyway. It would be interesting to see your version of the result now that we know the truth. Sincerely El Guapo
  13. Mahair This is getting ridicioulus. post your fucking f*****g or just shut the hell up. I think that I am speaking for several members of this board when I say that as long as you dont post your photos it is really hard to take you seriously. parable posted his. Where are yours? If you really have been butcherd and you want help you are going to have to get yourself a digital camera and start clickin. Stop fuckning around and show us. El Guapo
  14. parable. i think that you have a unique oppurtunity to make some healthy dollars here. As you may know, Australia have some of the highest payouts in case of malpractice in the world. Dr White is in breach of so many different laws and regulations here that it would be difficult to count them all. From what I studied in law school, you have a very very good case here and its not like Dr White can hide the evidence or anything. Find the best torts lawyer in town - I can assure you they will do it on a commision basis regarding the ovewhelming evidence. Save all the correspondance, even print Marcus White reply from this forum. There is no way Dr Whitte will ever let this make it to court. He will want to settle and he will settle at any ammount. You see - If he goes to court he will loose nomatter what because the results will be made public and noone and I mean noone will ever get a HT from him again and possibly other old patients will come forward and sue him as well. Trust me I know this shit. So get a very very good lawyer. offer the lawyer 1/3 of the payout. Threaten DR White with a potential lawsuit and he will pay a shitload of money. Its that easy. And he will pay. Mate good luck and let us know what you do. But DO NOT go to the papers ar make it public just yet. There must still be something left for Dr White to protect by paying you. El Guapo
  15. Regarding parables Photos. They are not as bad as other that i have seen but they are definately not good or even acceptable by any standard. 1) He has much to much hair to have had a HT in the first place. You admitted to making this mistake so that is fair enough. 2) His donor scar at 11 months is way to big. (This may or may not be Dr Whites fault) 3) The actual recepent site, which is of the biggest importance does not look good. If any patient of yours knew this is what it will look like no matter what his starting point, surely he would not go through with it even if you paid him. It is bumpy. It is red. There are not 1300 grafts or even hairs there. 4)regarding doing work on 18 year olds: Your representative in Edgecliff proudly tolm me about DR White doing a HT on an 18 year old man earlier this year. I do not think that is a very good idea. I think it is only fair that you give Mr Parable his money back and that you pay for his reconstructive surgery, especially if you usually do not have results this poor. This can surely not be the sort of results your prospective patients should expect. Sincerely El Guapo
  16. This Dr White Dude is going hardcore on the ads at the moment. Every other day he advertises in the Sydney Morning Herald and The Telegraph. He would be very vulnerable to bad publicity. Let him know that you will do your best to show everyone on every discussionboard and everywhere else you can possibly imagine how bad is work actually is. Put some photos of you scalp around edgecliff near his office. Theen ask him for you money back plus compensation that will cover your correctional work and then some. He is a sleazy businessman and should be dealt with in a similar way. Good luck. Guapo
  17. Yo. I was looking at your pictures Belgiumdude. At your age (22-23) I had almost the exact same hairloss as you. I am now 26 and have some thining on my crown and little left of my hairline. I started taking propecia and rogaine at 22 but the hairloss in the hairline especially has continued, even though its a lot slower with the med. What i am getting to is that maybe you should consider a bit more conservative hairline. It is a waste of donor hair and I can assure you that you will loose more hair within the next few years. With that hairline at 22 it is inevitable. My family, just as yours is not particularly bald, nor is my brother but that makes no difference. A hairline like Pr-Guys looks great now but will look really funny when the hair behind it starts falling out. It will make you wish you could just shave your head but if youve had strip you cant. I would not expect Hair Cloning any time soon either. even if it came it would probably be ridicoulusly expensive. So.....Consider a more consrvative approach. When you reach 25-26 a slightly receding but full hairline is more than enough. trust me. Good luck either way. Guapo

  19. Regarding Dr White I am not surprised. i went to see his rep in Sydney and I got a very bead feeling. The rep had the worst transplant i've ever seen and apparantly Dr White did it. He was also sleazy and said that he had to do repairwork on some of Dr Woods patients which I do not believe at all. He also proudly claimed having done work on an 18 year old! Sorry to hear you went to this snake oil sales person and hopefully you can fix it. El Guapo
  20. Dr Gho has promised to deliver HP on several occasions. Every time he pushes it forward a couple of years. It is possible that it will be available soon but not necessarily from him. it would solve the biggest problem of them all; supply. I would guess this technique will initially be expensive and should only be used by those with very limited donor hair supply. El Guapo
  21. I think its time for new photos. We are all anxious to see progress visually. You Ht sounds like a success. El Guapo
  22. I find it interesting that after you got slapped around a bit on this forum, new members suddenly started to pop up claiming youre a great surgeon. I would bet whats left of my follicles that these new posts are in fact from you or your office. Im sure you have people browsing the big forums to find negative publicity on you. It is unlikely that past patients of yours would just happen to stumble upon this forum and read these posts on you for 2 reasons: -If they knew about this forum they would NEVER have gone to you in the first place. -If they were past happy patients of yours what would they be doing browsing the looking for HT info all of the sudden if they had not done so prior to the procedure? We are not fools Dr Brandy. Unfortunately for you, forums like these are becomming more and more popular and soon doctors like you will have no more patients to butcher. El Guapo
  23. I agree it really looks like Harrison Ford did have some work done in the hairline. Check out his fairly new movie "Hollywood Homicide" Sting has definately had something done. He had less hair 10 years ago than he does now but it looks natural and pretty good actually. Possibly a good HT. My 2 cents El Guapo
  24. KG \Could you please post photos of the FUE procedure you were talking about. (London) I think a lot of men would agree with you that FUE is the future of the industry. However at the moment it is just to expensive for someone who needs more than 1000 grafts. How much does DHI charge? Are you expecting to lower the prices as the procedure becomes more and more available over the next year or so? Sincerely El Guapo
  25. Sorry to break the news for you but these laser things dont work, trust me. I went to advanced hair studios in sydney and spend a stupid ammount of money on the laser therapy. (same as the comb but more expensive) They basically promised me growth and no more hairloss. Absolute bullshit. its just another sales trick. Who is gonna admit to themselves that its not working anyway? And most men would be afraid to stop using it cause that, they think, will make the situation even worse. thats why there is a money back guarantee. Only a few meds and HT works. Youre way to early i would guess to judge the quality of your HT now anyway. hopefully its gonna turn out just fine. Shedding is normal and almost always it grows back. Good luck and stay away from the laser fraud. El Guapo
