I know that Bosely in LA isn't recommended, but surprisingly, their doctors suggested that I go with 800-1200 because I don't want a dramatic difference the first time. My hair is short right now, almost completly shaved, so a picture won't do much good anyways. I still have quite a bit of hair on the area that is thinning or balding, just that those hair are alot thinner than the area that is normal/healthy. Hasson and Wong quoted me at 4.5 per graft. Is that considered the average or top of the price range? Also is there anything good that is closer to California, or at least in the West Coast?

Where's Dr. Cooley's clinic located in? And what's his pricing like?

is there any well reviewed docs in the Los Angeles area? How much am I looking at spending for about 1000 grafts from some of the better clinics?

Hey, I'm new to the forum as well and looking for some tips and advice. I'm 26 and needing some HT done in the frontal area. I've met with one of the doctors at Bosely here in Southern California and they told me I'd be looking at about 600-1200 grafts to achieve satisfactory results. I later searched online for other HT info and discovered that there are lawsuits against Bosely's ethics. Can you guys recommend a good doctor in the California area? And typically, how much would something like 600-1200 grafts will cost me?
